Timing Questions

1. I'm playing as Serpent and I play Unrelenting Growth on myself. One of the presence I lay uncovers an any on my track. Can I use that any to meet the elemental threshold for Unrelenting Growth?
2. My event card for the turn includes Stricken (Invaders do not ravage in lands with disease/strife). The fear cards instructs me to add a strife to a land, and I add one to a land that would be ravaging (ie, the right land type and did not already have strife or disease). Does it ravage (because it didn't have a strife when the event card activated) or does it not ravage (because it has a strife when the Ravage comes around)?

1) It does not apply. All Presence track options are taken in the spirit phase and Unrelenting Growth uncovers the track in the fast powers phase.

2) It would not ravage. The event is changing the ravage step,and so you only check at this stage.

On (2), that's correct, you check what's there at the time the Ravage happens.
