Not sure if it's a typo in the web store or if there was a major surprise in going to final production, but there's a BGG thread calling some heat on the fact that the MSRP for Spirit Island is now listed as $80 rather than the Kickstarter price of $50.

That is interesting. It’s cool to get the occasional glimpse into the logistics behind a game publisher. I’ve been playtesting a game design I was thinking of submitting, and that already seemed daunting, but production stuff is a whole new world. Respect to GtG’s behind the scenes efforts!
