Weekly One Shot #184: Summon the Coleseum

Lifeline, Writhe, Black Spot La Comodora, Fanatic and Heroic Luminary vs Challenge Kaargra (Gladiators start with titles) in the Time Cataclysm.

Well, I don't see how this one is beatable. You do have a lot of options, especially with Lifeline, but the Gladiators just build up too quickly to deal with.

For the record playing the tech rollette gets you the repository, and Kaargra starts with 3 gladiators and 7 favor.  GOOD LUCK

For last week my cellphone got buggy as hell and I couldnt get the mint on that one( not even fine) but for this one here is my solution, worked on steam and the cellphone(that has fine) and steam mint

Fine after two rough games. 

Focusing down the gladiators seem to be the way to go for me. Lifeline getting the Seeker first turn helps with that, and it slows down the favor gain for each that you drop. I used Comodora to damage boost Fanatic and discard the one gladiator that redirects damage, which helped. Side effect from that is Fixed Point will then save your ongoings and equipment. Another fixed point is you can use concealed assailant without destroying the cloak and without discarding for comodora. Ignore the Pangolin, as he gets chaos lord and will play cards. 

If you can survive to round 3, you get a Fickle Fans, which brought it from 19-5 to 14-10 for me. If you can keep surviving to round 4, you get another Fickle Fans, which brought it back to 12-15 I think. From there, I flipped Kaargra and wailed on gladiators enough for 5 more points and won, with very low hp all around.

I did a few similar practice games to get the hang of the idea, which helped. Won the game and got a Mint.

It is not as bad as it looks, even when it looks like you are losing and hopeless!

Fickle Fans really saves you: I got 10 tokens to my hero favor pool from Fickle Fans. Lifeline cann play Leyline Shift and sometimes get lucky and get Fickle Fans.

Pay a lot of attention to which TItles are currently available and try to get those fast. Make sure that Lifeline doesn't get Seeker because that Title is disastrous for him. When Kaargra is out, you have to focus fire on her (or focus fire on Provocator Tarnis first if he is in your way.)

No Worries, I do it every week because I want mints on steam lol, so I do step by step all the procedure to get it, I post it most of the time if the weekly is difficult

I second that. Actually, thank you for the Mint (which I needed to unlock Completionist Guise). Now that I know it’s possible, I’ll try it on my own just to say I did.
