Is this Throat Jab buggy or rules as intended?

So my freind and I just did OblivAeon for the first time (we lost but at least Nixious was eaten by Raptors so it was worth it) and during the fight Wraith Throat Jabbed Bor the Unstable.  Before her next turn came about he exploded but he still did damage as if he wasn't throat jabbed.  Now normally I'd send a bug report but this might just be the rules so I figured I'd ask first.

I think that’s how it works - once he flips, he’s no longer a target so damage reducing effects that were placed on his front side don’t affect the damage he does.

This is intended.  Borr when flipped is not a target and isn’t impacted by a Throat Jab or Hypersonic Assault.   Im sure once MigrantP writes up his novel for OblivAeon Fireside chats this will be one of the noted items.
