Challenge Omnitron vs. Setting Sun Ra, Freedom Five Absolute Zero, and Xtreme Prime Wardens Tempest.
Mint with Ra at 20, AZ at 1 (where he hung out for several consecutive rounds), and Tempest at 8. The Challenge rules never came into play for me; I only saw two Components, and they came out one at a time, by which time Ra was set up to do 6-10 damage per round easily depending on whether Adaptive Plating was out or not. Unfortunately, I saw a lot of healing drones (almost every recycled "drone or component" was a healing drone), which extended the game more than I would have liked. Once I finally saw Obsidian Field, we burst him down quickly, with the only question being "would I be able to save Absolute Zero".
There was way too much equipment destruction flying around for AZ to stay set up, sadly. Ra just laughed and kept healing. Never used Ra's base power.

I felt like I was doing everything magically right at first, blasting Omnitron with fire, skipping AZ's first power so I could grab two module installations with Glacial Structure, using Into the Stratosphere over and over again.
And then Obisidian Field came out and it all fell apart. c.c This is why I don't play with only three heroes.

Easy Mint here with everyone at exactly 20 HP at the end. AZ ate a Singularity to the face with his full setup in play, but with the help of Tempest's constant soothing downpour, he shrugged it off and patiently rebuild over the next several turns. No particular Omni-hijnks to be aware of, though he did manage to squeeze an extra cardplay out of Terraforming by using it to take out the Volcano, which he then wasted by playing a second Terraforming on an empty field.

Mint on a rollercoaster ride of HP. I don't remember where everyone ended up, but at one point all 3 were around 3, and later AZ was back to full, then back to 2, then 20 again....
Anyway, only real problem I had was Electro-Pulse with three heroes is kind of hard to manage, especially since Tempest's power only affects the End of Turn effects, not Start of Turn. Though I do wonder if Sub-Zero Atmosphere with Thunderstruck would actually work... Has someone tried that?
Sedative Flechettes are annoying, Singularities are annoying, blah blah blah, the usual Omnitron stuff. Slowing him down with Into the Stratosphere did seem to help. Environment was more harm than help until I got to the Obsidian Fields, at which point the heroes wailed him down pretty good.

Pretty easy Mint with everyone around 16. I got Cleansing Downpour out after Sedative Flechettes had gone off, so Tempest was able to keep everyone topped off on health while Ra and AZ piled on the damage. Ra used Flesh of the Sun God to protect AZ from the downside of Thermal Shockwave until he got his equipment out. There were two Obsidian Fields by the end, so none of Omnitron's components stayed in play for long (aided by Fueled Freeze and Into the Stratosphere).

So I'm to understand... villain is preprogrammed, but the hero powers basically make them randomized fast (except for Tempest, who has his weakest power and little to do with his draws prior to the 1st Sedative Flechettes)?
Setups like this are really frustrating.

Much easier than I expected. Didn’t use anyone’s base power much. On a redo, I found the thermal shockwave - flesh of the sun god advice above let me win in half the time.
As far as Tempest variants go, I prefer this one to both prime wardens (powerful but usually I only use the power once in the game) and freedom six (yay, I can skip two turns at the same time if I have nothing I want to play).

Finally beat it, but had to use Ra's base power several times and accept burning burn cards for a while to keep the various bots and pterodactyls at bay. Flash flood was reserved for making sure the T-rex was only around one round. This is way too random, the moment you touch Ra's summon staffs or AZ's power their decks are shuffled and it's chaos, I simply had better cards available (didn't even GET a flesh of the sun god during one loss) when I finally won.

I find the diversity of experience here interesting. I guess there were a lot of variables related to Summon Staff, Blaze of Glory, Pilot Light, Onboard Module Installation, and Into the Stratosphere. I never saw Terraforming or the Volcano, and only 2 Components individually and near the end of the game. Omnitron insisted on bringing back Repair Drones as much as he could, which was fine. My team had Ia rough time, but I pulled out a mint, down to the wire at x/0/5.
