Termi-Nation Absolute Zero, Termi-Nation Bunker, and Termi-Nation Unity vs. Chokepoint in Ft. Adamant.

I Minted; it felt a little hairy at the beginning, but judicious application of a perpetually recycled Stealth Bot kept me from taking the worst blows. Once the board cleared up a bit and the game slowed down, I was able to get set up and did a pile of damage quickly, mostly from AZ and Unity. (Bunker's loaded-down Omni-Cannon sadly went toward knocking out Chokepoint's damage reduction. Ah well, should have been using it earlier.)  Final HP 11 / 15 / 12.

I have never lost to Chokepoint. When I saw this set of heroes (some of my least favorite variants) and their opening hands (with practically no useful cards), I got worried. I got even more worried when the environment exploded with anti-hero cards and Chokepoint quickly beat all of my heroes down to less than 10hp.

But Unity finally got a modular workbench out and enough bots to start whomping. Chokepoint took our the enviroment herself. Absolute Zero drew the Impales and put them into play, shivering for more damage. Bunker kept accepting her shocking cards and then blowing up the equipment on his turn so they didn't do anything.

I did make some misplays along the way. I didn't use beebot correctly, for example. But in the end, it was Mint. 6/2/2.

Finally lose to Chokepoint?

Not today, Chokepoint. Not today.

Oh man, I never saw Impale, either of those would have been nice. When I got fully set up, though, I was able to freely use AZ's base power (thanks, Stealth Bot!) and alternate with Thermal Shockwave, which was still good stuff.

Mint at 0/6/4 for me.  AZ had a really rotten time to the point where I eventually just went "f*** it!" and let him die to his own self damage in a Hail Mary to let Unity bring out more bots.  He did good work taking out the ongoings though!  MVC today was Volitile Parts of all things, letting Unity do tons of damage especially with the Bee Bots!

Rough Near Mint, ended at ~20, 9, 4. I might have been able to Mint, but I made a stupid error that would have killed me so I rewound.

Mint, though it wasn't easy. I ddin't lose anyone, but I definitely could have played better, that's for sure. Word to the wise, this team setup is the only way to make Chokepoint challenging without actually using her Challenge rules! Or, y'know, playing in Rook City or Mordengrad or something.

*sigh* Poor Chokepoint, she tries so hard to be a threat, but she just can't seem to manage (without Challenge Mode, of course!). Pretty much a standard Chokepoint walk in the park Mint with AZ at 19, Bunker at 16 and Unity at 14. Way to go Termi-Nation crew! :)

Mint with 2/13/11. AZ was low because I just wanted to finish it rather than heal him back up from the Hoarfire.

Similar to bolnerap, redirecting the big hits to stealth bot, then cycling it back into play with Unity's base power saved quite a bit of damage. From there, I just plodded along as I could until I was at a point that I could start Shivering instead of just using Thermal Shockwave. The turn after I used Shivers, AZ went to town with a Hoarfire and blew up his Cryo-Chamber (nearly killing himself in the process) to do a pretty hefty chuck of Chokepoint to win the game.

Though the starting environment did have me worried, Chokepoint took it all out for me after a few rounds, which was nice of her ;)

Also, Unity can easily handle the initial danger from the environment if she puts a Beebot in play on her second turn :)

Mint as well. Heroes went to single digits before AZ and Bunker started healing themselves and tanked for the rest of the game. With Ammo Drop out, Bunker hid in Turret Mode and then discarded his hand to nullify the environment by keeping the blast doors shut. After that, everyone, especially Unity, plunked away until ChokePoint went down. I never saw Stealth Bot, but Champion Bot, Platform Bots and Bee Bots did the job.

Mint.  Zero was way up, Unity was mid teens, Bunker was below 10.

Setalth bot helped out early, and then never saw play again once  istarted getting the Raptor bots out.

Mint, but a serious miss play nearly saw me lose. Managed to lose both AZ and Unity while holding nothing that could damage Chokepoint while she was at 3 hp and Bunker was at 1. Played his base power and drew and played Flak cannon for a dicey win!

Mint at 0/2/3.  I have never managed to get the hang of Termi-Nation AZ, especially when he doesn't have external sources of heat or cold to trigger from, so he was most useful destroying ongoings with his incap ability.  Ironically, things really picked up when the remaining heroes were low enough to no longer have the highest health, so Chokepoint started attacking the bots instead.  That coincided with a run of platforms and Mr. Chomps, and it went pretty quickly from that point.
