Mad Bomber Blade against Setting Sun Ra, Xtreme Fanatic, and Absolute Zero in the Wagner Mars Base. Harrowing Mint this one, ended the game at 0/4/0.
This one's rough. While the Self Destrust Sequence doesn't come out ASAP, it does come out early and AZ doesn't draw his equipment until late in the fight so you're gonna have to deal with Impale and Fueled Freeze being his main methods of attack. Fanatic fares worse and her main contributions were holding off the bomb and being alive for Ra to give an incap power to, and that's only due to her aigis of resurrection. THANKFULLY Ra starts the game with Flesh of the Sun God, so you can breese through the first phase letting Fire in the Biosphere do the work for you while you take minimal damage. Also AZ Hail Maryed the moment he got his Transducer and unfortunatly ended himself with his own self damage.
Also wait on destroying that Maitenence Bay until it pulls out the Self-Destruct sequence. Trust me you'll need as many cards in there as possible and it pulls out Meteor Swarm right when Blade pulls out a devious destruction. Those things are back to back so if you see meteors under the bomb, stop for half a second. Last thing to note is that the 3rd to last card in the envo deck is Pervasive Red Dust. Makes those Hail Marys a lot harder.

I feel like the environment messed with me more than Blade in this thing. AZ with Xtreme Fanatic's third incap power is amazing, though.
I was thinking about my loss last night, and I think the two things I want to do are: leave out Maintenance Bay to get Meteor Swarm faster and don't destroy it until after Pervasive Red Dust has been resolved; use Ra's 10 fire damage incap once he goes down. I may have to try relying on Flesh of the Sun God as well.
EDIT: Yeah, that worked, though it was probably a pretty sloppy way to play. Just keep AZ alive (hold on to those reclamations!) and Ra's 10 damage incap will clutch it out.

I got a mint through a slog. Lots of Flesh of the Sun God, and I actually turned off the Self-Destruct Sequence by having heroes skip their turns, which I usually don't do. (I had only one hero skip their turn in the round right after the Destruct Sequence entered play, and then everyone pushed the buttons at once under cover of a meteor storm.)
I thought Blade's second Devious Disruption might end my game, since Ra had lost his damage-dealing powers and Absolute Zero was only just getting set up again...when suddenly I realized that this was SETTING SUN RA, who is almost more powerful after he dies, so I let Blade kill Ra, trigger Fanatic's Aegis, and then had Ra nuke him back.

Near mint with everyone ~10hp
First game I thought something was up with the start, and played it pretty safe. Not safe enough though, as I burned Fueled Freeze too early and was stuck with double Backlash Fields. I couldn't do enough damage through that much retaliation to beat him. I almost made it with a Ra dealing 10 irreducable incap, but the retaliation killed Fanatic before I could Wrathful Retribution >.<
Second game, I went Super Turtle. I don't think I did anything beyond Flesh of the Sun God and double skip Fanatic and AZ until the environment shuffled. Leaving the two Fire in the Biosphere's in play, removing Meteors and Self-Destruct as I could, and saving up ongoing destruction let the environment plink away at Blade until I was ready to nuke the shields and Backlash. Once I did that, he quickly flipped and cleared the board with something like 11 cards under him, and then it was just a matter of building back up while bringing him down again.

Managed a messy Mint at 11/3/0.
I would have done better, but I accidentally skipped Ra's turn for Meteor Shower instead of for Self-Destruct, which both kept the Self-Destruct from turning off and also caused me to take a round of massive fire damage that killed AZ. In general, though, I used the same tricks as everyone else; I kept Fire in the Biosphere around to blast Blade with, Ra made everyone permanently fireproof, and Fanatic built up her hand and then dumped everything, first into a round of Divine Whatever and then into a gigantic Wrathful Retribution.

I let AZ get taken out as I flipped Blade, then hid behind meteor shower until his damage boost incap ability hit 40, then had Ra burn him down in one hit.

Mint after a ridiculously long slog. I stupidly played Flesh of the Sun God on the first turn and then removed it from the game. Wound up hiding behind Meteor Showers until I could draw another one and a Fueled Freeze to remove the Backlash Fields. I was able to leave the Fires in the Biosphere burning as a result, though, and once I had Flesh back they helped make short work of Blade.

Long slog here, too. I was going along merrily on Baron's first side and then Metoer Showers came out. I decided to try hding behind that until I built myself up nice and big and could get Fanatic's Wrathful Retribution so I could do some big damage right away on Blade's second side.
Instead, I accidentally skipped Ra's turn for Meteor Showers instead of Self-destruct Sequence and sacrificed Fanatic using Divine Intervention. Then Blade flipped and I hid behind another Meteor Shower. Which turned into a very long slog as Pervasive Red Dust kept slowing down my build ups, but it eventually let Ra heal up some more. And then I once again skipped Ra's turn on the wrong card. (Meteor Showers instead of Self-Destruct) I had let Blade go through his whole deck, though, so he only had a few cards in the discard and I was built up nicely by then, so it was a quick beat down at that point.

I swear, this One-shot had extra of this card in the environment deck.

I got a mint, but it was frustrating.
I had a great plan. Very quickly, the environment played two "FIre in the Biosphere" cards, while Ra had "Flesh of the Sun God" out and powered up. I thought it would be a great plan to leave the "Fire in the Biosphere" cards in play, hitting MBBB with lots of fire damage while the heroes were immune. And MBBB took a little bit of damage from this setup. But then the environment deck played FOUR "OXYGEN LEAK" CARDS IN A ROW, which neutralized all the fire damage from "Fire in the Biosphere". (In case anyone wonders how that happened, the last two cards in the environment draw deck were both "Oxygen Leak", and when the draw deck was empty, the environment discard pile was shuffled and became the new draw deck, and the top two cards on the new deck were "Oxygen Leak" cards.)
Still won, but man that took a long time and was frustrating to see such a good plan get ruined by unlikely events. Every now and again, that bell curve will bite you.

With Mad Bomber Blade lacking any environment destruction and missing his alternate loss condition, you can sit behind a Meteor Storm forever to get set up (using Flesh of the Sun God to protect you until you get there...). If you feel like it, you can get to the point where all of your cards are either in hand or in play. Once each of the heroes has a piece of equipment handy, the dust becomes helpful, as repeatedly re-playing the Staff of Ra and Absolution will heal them up. (I guess Fanatic could use Holy Nova repeatedly to get AZ healed up if you wanted to).
Then with Ra’s ability to stack the environment deck, you can take Blade down at your leisure. Get a Meteor Storm where you want it in the deck, then use a Fueled Freeze (and a Consecrated Ground, if necessary) to remove any ongoings Blade has out. Ra skips his turn to end one meteor storm, Fanatic and AZ pound him a bit (especially if he has Cold Snap and both Impales out), and the new Meteor Storm arrives to protect the heroes. Repeat as needed.
I wonder how this plays out thematically. The combatants scramble around endlessly in futile attempts at battle, until Ra finally has enough, and blasts just enough meteors to give the other heroes a shot to pound Blade before the next meteors arrive. Blade somehow manages to scatter bombs around but they don’t work. After he flips (and the heroes have so much stuff out that they don’t care that he trashes a bunch of it), his death ray keeps getting stronger but is still useless, until finally it resets (Blade’s trash gets shuffled), rendering it weak again for a while.
I also made the mistake of accidentally skipping a turn on the Meteor Storm instead of the Self-Destruct Sequence (Consecrated Ground is much better…), and Fanatic and AZ nearly died. But it turned out to be quite helpful, because it gave Fanatic big damage from Wrathful Retribution, and made it much faster to pound Blade.
The drawback, of course, is that it takes FOREVER to do this, and it isn’t particularly fun (it would be a very boring comic). This is one of those one-shots that I don’t plan to re-play.

Near Mint. I screwed up the first one by skipping at the wrong point and it got away from me - I shouldn’t attempt these at 1am!
The second game was much better - much slower start letting Fire in the Biosphere do most of the work and then setting up and pounding on Blade as quickly as possible on his second side. AZ went down, but by that point I’d set up Fanatic to play a big Wrathful Retibution (using her damage at the end of each turn card to get her very low thanks to Backlash Field, and redirecting the damage to keep it in play to Blade with her base power) so that took him from full to dead in a round and a half I think...
I didn’t see Red Dust at all.

Mint, sounds like I got aggressive much faster than most. I did use flesh of the sun god to stay alive for the first side but used fireblast, living conflageration and flame spike to burn blade down and got rid of the meteor storm once the self distruct was gone. Blade flipped with a backlash field tho and Fanatic was rezzeed by the aegis after using divine focus which was fine until blade healed as well.
Then the red dust came and Fanatic got a new aegis and divine focused herself into a second rez and then got the aegis back again just to be sure. Ra had flame barrier, imbuded fire and a recurring staff by now and was causing more damage than he was taking, AZ was limited to healing himself a bit and getting shot in the face all game.
Never saw Wrathful retribution or most of AZ's kit but but the endlessly respawning Fanatic carried the day.
