Grasping Shadow-Cloth OblivAeon bug?

Hello,
I encountered what I think is a bug. I tried to play Grasping Shadow-Cloth and target OblivAeon's trash. He had ~8 cards in the trash at the time, but a message popped up saying that the trash was empty. OblivAeon was in the other Battlezone, so I thought it could have been that so I rewound and chose the Scion deck, as it had ~15 cards and a Scion was active in both zones. However, I got the message saying that the scion trash was empty as well.

As per my understanding of the rules, I should have been able to target the Scion deck/trash as there was a scion in the same battlezone. Is this not the case?

You should not have been able to choose OblivAeon's trash in that case, and it should work on the Scion trash/deck if there is a scion in that battle zone. Please report a bug through the Credits screen, thanks!
