Cosmic Omnitron vs. Visionary Unleashed, Horus Ra, Greatest Legacy, Termi-Nation Abolute Zero and Freedom 5 Tachyon in the Ruins of Atlantis.

Holy Damage Boosts!

This setup makes Tachyon's Blitz super powerful, and Legacy became "jerk Leagacy," activating his own Motivational Charge for extra healing.

Once things got to ridiculous levels, Absolute Zero was able to on one turn: Impale for 7 damage, Use Thermal Shockwave for 6, and then use the backlash from Thermal Shockwave/Isothermic Transducer for 25. Hey, 38 damage to Omnitron in one go isn't bad.

Game ended at the beginning of round 4 (I think?) when Tachyon Synaptically Interrupted the Electro-Pulse Explosive into Omnitron (with Leaking Room out for icing on the cake).

At the end, Visionary 26HP, Ra 29HP, Legacy 30HP, Absolute Zero 5HP and Tachyon 16HP.

Mint with everyone somewhere in the teens.

Definitely didn't play the best things at the best time (I blame lack of sleep, and I blame that on the baby), but once the first Phosphorescent Chamber came out I knew where this one was headed. To start, I thought it was going to be "let Grandpa Legacy let AZ Violent Shivers for stupid amounts of damage", but it went too fast for that. I ignored the drones where I could and just Blitz'ed Omnitron down by round 4, where Visionary's Psychic Maelstrom and Power Unleashed finished him off. MVP was still Tachyon with 2 Lightspeed Barrages and big boosted Blitzing. I acutally used Legacy's power to give Ra more uses of Fire Tornado the entire game.

I barely got this one.  I recognized the value of the damage boosts, but I'm always a little bit chicken about the phosphorescent chambers so I got rid of them after 1 round of having both out, in which Tachyon did good, but not great damage (she destroyed one one of th PC's on her turn, because I thought the card advantage would be slightly better than the damage).  Then came the sedative flechettes+leaking room combo which set me way back. By the time I got set up again I was all most dead thanks to Omnitron and the kraken when another flechettes came out and killed everyone but Ra and Visionary, who were at 1 hp apiece.  Omnitron was low (11 hp), but had adaptive plating subroutine out.  I played cerebral hemorrhage (and no damage from her power thanks to APS), then Fire blast, then legacy granted a power to Visionary, who reset the APS with one psychic damage from her power so absolute zero could let Ra play inferno ftw.

I barely got mint, and played worse than you three. And probably worse than anyone else. Everyone was down but Visionary, who was at 5 HP.

The second Flechettes got everyone but Visionary and Ra, and Ra was at 1 HP. I put Visionary into a telekinetic cocoon, hoping I’d figure out some way to pull this one out of the fire with incapacitated abilities. Legacy and Absolute Zero took out Adapative Plating Subroutines with incap abilities, and Mystic Defenses came out and took out Ra - but also did damage to Omnitron.

Visionary continued to hide in her shell while things got worse, including an Electro Pulsive Explosive, but Omnitron took damage from the Atlantean defenses. Tachyon gave Visionary an extra play for her next turn. Another Mystic Defenses came out, doing a total of 4 to Omnitron, but Omnitron repaired 3 with a drone. Then Visionary came out of her shell to play 2x Mind Jab for 6 points, ending the game.

Wow. What a ride.

Ended with 12/13/13/0/15. Near-mint because I backed up when I made an obvious mistake.

I decided to delay Omnitron’s flip as long as i could, so Visionary took out two of his Components with Mental Divergence (first one on her turn, and the second care of Grandpa Legacy). The first round everyone else concentrated on the drones.

Absolute Zero played Isothermal Transducer, used his shivers, Then on second round, Grandpa Legacy gave him the shivers again and AZ then played and used thermal shockwave. Phosphorescent Chamber was up, which gave him +5 damage. That was 6 to three targets, then 21 to himself, then 26(!) to Omnitron. Add in the 6 he hit him with first, and it was 32 to Omnitron in one round.

Yeah, it dropped AZ so low he didn’t survive later rounds, but man what a burst.

Somehow in there Tachyon came up with a Hypersonic Assault, I’m a bit fuzzy on the round by round here, so it could’ve been in round 3, but I then I found myself with two Phosphorescent Chambers up, Omitron unable to do damage because of the Hypersonic Assault, and Inspiring Presence also up.

So all damage is +3. And Tachyon had 8 burst cards in her trash and a Lightspeed Barrage in her hand. So 11 from the Barrage, 4 from her power before the burst, and another 32 from after. So 47 points of damage in one round.

It took a few rounds after that to actually finish Omnitron, and he got both Technological Singularity and Sedative Flechettes out before I could (which dropped AZ), but it really wasn’t in doubt. He lost over 3/4 of his hit points on those two strikes.

When the double Phosphors came out, I said to myself, "this looks like fun, let's see how far I can take this!"  Bad idea.  AZ took himself down to 5 right away (funny how quickly 1 damage can turn into 11), and then the Flechettes wiped out my setup, so I had no ongoings in play and no cards left in my hand.  Then the Kraken started eating us.

I did still win the damage race and get a mint, but Vis and Ra were in low single digits and the others were incapped.  If Ra hadn't finished Omni, the Kraken would have, but I would not have gotten another turn.

Mint - Absolute Zero went down pretty early doing a stupid big hit. Kept out the chambers to pile damage on Omnitron. Lots of healing from Legacy kept everyone else up. Flecettes came out while he was under Hypersonic Assault, but the loss of set up slowed me down, but the damage was too good and Omnitron was too low. Once the Kraken came out he was on my side and it was all over bar the shouting.

That was fun! :D I had barely any hand, because of getting rid of the chambers, but it was quite the blowout. Flechettes were a tad demoralizing, but a late-game Imbued Fire gave Tachyon all she needed to end things before they got much worse.

I didn’t want to do Imbued Fire because I suffered under the delusion that Absolute Zero would get a chance to heal himself. When he went down, Omnitron had two Adaptive Platings in play which was another good reason not to play it.

Freedom Five Tachyon is absolute brutal with any kind of damage boosts, though. This setup could potentially give you 5 points per use of Blitz - 2x Chamber, Inspiring Presence, and Imbued Fire.

Easy Mint here.  Was I the only person who beat him before Sedative Flechettes came out?

I ended with the first Technological Singularity (which happened right after a leaking room, which would have been much worse if I had had more than 2 equipments out :P). Suggestion is so useful. In this instance I put an Interpolation Beam back on top when he was switched to the Drone side to keep him from chain playing, but otherwise I was done by Round 4.

Yawnfest of a mint at 20/28/19/4/15.  I think Suggestion and Hypersonic Assualt were the only non-damage plays I had that game, otherwise it was ust a damage race, and a pretty bland one at that.  I'mma go beat up Akash'bhuta now, I need something stally after that.

Edit: I ended on turn 3 so I never even saw the leaking room, let alone the fun police syringes.

Near mint for me. I played this pretty badly even on the second try. Waited until after Omnitron’s destruction cards near the top came out to start building up my guys; consequently Absolute Zero was absolutely useless all game. I didn’t take advantage of the Phosphorescent Chambers either, but I did bottom deck most of the environment targets, so I ended with everybody incapacitated except Visionary on 3 HP at the end, waiting for her pet Kraken and the rest of the Atlantis crew to finish off Omnitron and his minions. I couldn’t even get out Demoralization before I had to cocoon up. Pillars of Hercules caused me a moment of panic when it screwed up the lockdown I had on Omnitron’s deck thanks to Ra, but thankfully my cocoon held until the end.
