A vengeance fight this week.

Proletariat, The Operative, Bugbear, Greezer vs The Wraith, The Naturalist, Legacy, Captain Cosmic in the Court of Blood

Your opening hands let you deal with most of the annoying ongoings iirc. I decided to go after bugbear first because I know the environment can block healing so his flip side wasn't so bad. (It otherwise was just a load of angry mobs. Good going Handelabra for playing up the communist uprising theme)

MVP for damage was wraith with a 21 damage out of turn thanks to Dynamic syphon taking bugbear out of the game super early. Otherwise nothing horrible and a comfortable Mint with everyone in the mid teens

A fairly comfortable Mint here as well.

Wraith did most of the damage, Naturalist tanked, Legacy buffed, and Cosmic added autonomous blades to speed things along. Greazer went down first, followed by bugbear. Operative went down next, followed by Proletariot knocking himself out at the start of his turn.

A rather aptly themed story for May 1st. Well played Handelabra, well played.

Still playing this one... iPad keeps crashing. I have occasional issues with normal games but so far this seems to be crashing at the end of every hero and Villain turn...

Fun and easy Mint. Though I do wish I'd saved that initial Grappling Hook. There's lots of ongoing destruction from this team, but it was a few turns of Everyman's Strength hits before I got a Crafty Assault into play. D: Ouch!

Yeah same - I stupidly blew Grappling Hook and Crafty Assault turn 1, so I had Everyman strength out for the entire game which really did a number on the heroes until I got Legacy better set up for tanking near the end.

Finally managed to finish this one by switching off some of the animation stuff. Mint, but everyone at 3-4 health after a slow start. Took out Bugbear first (just becomes a real pain to take down later), then Greezer, then Operative (mostly as she was quicker to remove than Proliteriate who by this time had Everyman Strength, Defensive Formation and 3 Clones) and finally Proliteriate - Luckily he played Regroup and recover while Unhallowed Halls was out and Legacy tanked his big hit with Next Evolution and the rest could just chew through his -1 damage reduction before he was able to get another Clone out.

Mint.

Fun one -- same experience as others, Bugbear first, then Operative, Proletariat, and Greazer for last.

I briefly considered winning by incapping Legacy so Greazer would fly away, but decided to let the Angry Mob do the labor instead. They left a nice surprise in the May Basket on Greazer's doorstep!

Wraith 14HP, Naturalist 12HP, Legacy 3HP and Captain Cosmic 13HP.

My order was Bugbear, Greazer, Operative Proletariat, I think.  The last two went down pretty close to each other.

Bugbear, Greazer, Operative, Proletariat, but the first two went down pretty close together. Proletariat died to the first action by any vampire all game.

I hung onto Crafty Assault for turn 2, after getting Gazelle into play on turn 1. Did use Grappling Hook a bit earlier than may have been ideal, but I can't say I regret using it to get rid of Blood Scent.

Mint as most of those already posted. Greazer -> BB -> Operative -> Prol

Saved Crafty Assault my first turn as I wanted to get Gazelle out first for ongoing destruction, and saved Grappling Hook since I knew I could destroy 2. Ended up using that to destroy Blood Scent and Feral Brawn, then Grappled Everyman's Strength next turn.

Although Iaido Practitioner can actually cause some serious damage since CC puts out low hp constructs O.o

I just put Dynamic Syphon on Wraith along with Autonamous Blades and let her go to town, first on Greazer to save Legacy and then Bugbear to reduce most of the damage taken

Well that was a fun one.  I ended it by having Captain Cosmic throw Legacy under the bus (i.e. hit him with Construct Cataclysm) to get Greazer to go away.

Mint, but way too painful. Ended with 1,2,1 and 5 HP.

Like FearLord, I burned my ongoing takedowns too quickly and Everyman's Strength played havoc on me. I dropped Bugbear than Greazer and then Proletariat had both Everyman's Strength and Defensive Formation up and I was fishing for cards to take them down. When I finally got another Grappling Hook, I decided to take out Defensive Formation and make it a damage race, which I won, but barely.

Fun, but ouch.

Easy mint, though I sure did make some stupid mistakes.

I focused on getting Naturalist set up as a tank, which meant that he initially went for card draw. He got Environmental Alies out before the first vampire. On the last turn I forgot that Environment Allies requires that he stay gazelle and the angry mob and some vampires dealt out some hurt to me. Fortunately all the villains were down except Bugbear, who was down to 5 HP, so it wasn’t a problem.

Wraith did 90% of the damage. She initially played Smoke Bombs, which was a big help in keepin the Constructs in play, but after that it was all knives for her. The Naturalist is the only other reliable damage dealer on this team, and he was too busy to go croc, ever.

While it’s easy to look at Wraith’s damage and count her most valuable, I think it was really mostly Captain Cosmic. Because he was handing out Cosmic Bracers to the Naturalist and Siphons all around. Those bracers made tanking with the Naturalist much easier, and the siphons meant extra attacks, extra damage buffs from Legacy, extra card draws for the Naturalist, and additional damage immunity for Legacy. Really they were extremely effective.

You saved Bugbear for last and still won?  That's impressive!

I felt that I was kind of low on damage output, and thus whacking Bugbear looked unproductive until Unhallowed Halls came out. The Operative just looked like a better target. Proletariat has his clones as meat shields, and wasn’t doing any damage anyway because the Naturalist had 2 DR and could tank him and his clones for no damage. I wasn’t sure if Legacy could hold off Greazer, so I put off taking him out until it was clear Legacy would survive. By the time I was done with the Operative, the environment and psychic self-damage had brought Proletariat down to about 5 HP, so he was next. At that point it was Greazer and Bugbear, and though the Halls prevented Bugbear’s healing, Greazer was still the much easier target.
