Advanced Chairman vs Fixer, Legacy, Expatriete, Absolute Zero

Yeah no mint for me this week. An early informant meant I fetched the increased damage style leading to many card plays.

By the end of it even after a heroic amount of damage by AZ and Exp, The Chairman and Operative were on full and 2 underbosses were out along with there minions. Was a bad time. 10/10 want to try again.

Mint, but tough battle. Legacy was the last hero standing. Luckily all damage was changed to toxic and I was able to make Legacy immune using Next Evolution. Motivational Charge allowed Legacy to come back from 3 HP to finish in the mid-teens.

Pretty much this for me too. By game end, Legacy was at or near full and had all of his Ongoing cards out, so I was able to defend reasonably well with Next Evolution (either toxic or melee or both), AZ incap boosted damage, Expatriette incap gave bonus attacks, Fixer incap gave extra draw, and then Motivational Charges dealt damage. Mint, Legacy near full, the rest at 0.

The early Informant put both Prison Breaks in the trash round one for me! c.c I lost Fixer and Expat to the rats, but Minted. The Freedom Five cannot be stopped!

Playing this I discovered a combo specific to F5 Legacy which I hadn’t thought of before.  Legacy had Next Evolution out along with the Legacy Ring.   I made Legacy immune to melee and played Heroic Interception using Overwatch.    So while Legacy still took some shots he didn’t take any from playing Heroic Interception.

Painful Mint, Legacy last one standing at 11.  Zero ALMOST made it to the end, but went down in the last villain turn.

I swore a LOT.  Missed opportunity that somehow didn't kill Fixer: Play Bloody Knuckles, Use Fueled Freeze. (I used fueled Freeze the turn before I played, and then promptly facepalmed)

Near Mint.

In the first game, I somehow managed to let Legacy fall. The other heroes stuck around longer than I expected after that, with Mr. Fixer and Expatriette hanging on each at 1HP for a while...but with no way to damage the Chairman without going down to retaliation, they didn't make it.

Second game was the inverse, with Legacy being the only hero left standing. It went like others have described, with Legacy immune to all damage, and waiting it out and healing.

Legacy ended with 14HP, all others out of it.

To clarify, this takes place in Pike Industrial Complex?  Also, this is the base variants of these heroes?  It is unclear from OP.

Near Mint
First game the Broker went down in the environment turn, causing Chairman to flip just as the Contract and Hired Gun came out. Owchies damage followed.

Second game I was much more cautious, burning through Chairman's deck before the environment turn to get as much as I could killed by the vats. After all that settled, Mr. Fixer and Expatriette died bringing down the Operative before he shuffled his deck and started pulling out underbosses again. Legacy and AZ managed to get stable through Next Evolution tanking the melee damage and Overwatch removing the Toxic vat, and started whittling down to a 0/12/0/5 victory (Yay Thermal Shockwave nuking!)

Yeah. I made the mistake of killing the broker so I wouldn't have to see the informant again.  On Fixer's turn.

I forgot that I was playing advanced.

But I recovered.

Mint. Legacy was the only one still standing, at 7HP.

Turns out if you can get the Chairman's reaction damage to trigger on himself, it helps a lot. On a related note, one of F5 AZ's incap powers is, "Each target deals itself 1 cold damage." That was how I ended up winning, along with a lot of Danger Sense + Irradiated Cyclohexane Vat + Next Evolution (toxic).

Near Mint, because of the hints here.

First game I just misplayed and hit the reset button out of frustration. Then I came here and got some hints. My son says I needed to join and give back, so here I am.

Second game, ended 4/19/13/2, everyone standing, because I went for Legacy Ring and Next Evolution early (like implied here). Then I got Lead from the Front out with an Irradiated Cyclohexane Vat that somehow stuck around. So everything got converted to toxic (used Legacy to take out the Supercooled Trisolvent Vat when it showed) and Legacy absorbed it all except the environment hitting the others (he had Danger Sense up third turn). Then it was just pounding all the villains as hard as possible before the last Chemical Explosion came out. I never saw motivational charge, but when the other three get time to get fully set up, they can do a lot of damage quickly.

Welcome, Father of Griff.

Also, I got a near mint on a replay and after all the chemical explosions came out so early I realized why you were banking on Legacy. This time around FV Legacy 25 HP, Everyone Else 0.

@Carnilus it takes place in Pike Industrial Complex with Base Fixer and Expatriete with FV variants for Legacy and Absolute Zero.

Usually when I see The Chairman, I nope right out of it, but I decided to give it a go.  The first time, everybody but Legacy fell.  I managed to take out The Operative, and had The Charman down to 30.  I even survived a swarm of bodies coming out of the trash for a turn.  Then I made the mistake of only being immune to toxic damage, so when the Chemical Explosion took Cyclohexane out, I was in trouble and didn't last much longer.  But I didn't feel like it was a hopeless battle.z

The second time, I lost Fixer and Expat.  However, Legacy buried the Cyclohexane so AZ could heal himself and stick around, and I won with Legacy at 32 and AZ at 28 for a Near Mint.  I might even go back and try again, just to use Fueled Freeze on Bloody Knuckles...

Near Mint, because I screwed up and forgot that Legacy loses his Next Evolution immunity on his turn.  Quick rewind, and then it was smooth sailing.

Legacy was the first to drop to 1 hp, and then ended up last hero standing.  Whereupon he remained standing, thanks to his immunity to Cyclohexane, and managed to Motivate himself back to 16 hp.

Yep... Legacy show here too, finished in the 20s. If I'd played Heroic Interception one turn later, I think I could have had everyone survive. Oh well.

The environment and Legacy punched down Operative, then Chairman ate himself thanks to AZ's incap ability. Which was also hilarious to watch turn from "each thug hits themselves for 1 cold" into "each thug hits themselves for 6 Toxic", thanks, Chairman old buddy.

Similar. I had Everyone dead apart from Legacy on 1hp before Legacy was able to break through everything. Only Near Mint as I had to rewind when I miss clicked Absolute Zero’s incapacitated Power as the cold damage, which would have killed Legacy, but otherwise it was just immune Legacy chewing his way through the whole of the Chairman’s Organisation…

Minted this when it came out, pretty much the way most people did. Everyone fell down except Legacy, but Legacy was indestructible because of Next Evolution. When the Cyclohexane Vat came out, Absolute Zero was down to 2 HP, so I didn't destroy it. I figured that he'd get wiped no matter what I did, so it was better to keep the +1 damage and ensure that Legacy only needed to be immune to Toxic damage to ignore everything.

At the time, Legacy had no way of doing damage on his own, but Ex-Patriette was letting him do 1 damage on using a power, which meant he was still doing damage with Next Evolution. Soon enough I drew Motivating Charge, which became my main source of damage. I did have the Legacy Ring out so I could do that without giving up Toxic immunity.

Legacy's very good against the Organization even without the Vat, since almost all the damage the Organization does is melee. Get Next Evolution and Lead From the Front out soon enough and he'll tank most of the damage. My problem was that by the time I got Lead from the Front, Legacy was alone.
