So I couldn't find a thread to necro thread back to the front so thought I would start a new one. 2 questions really:

1) Ideas on getting 5 redirects in one go? At best I can see some strange situation where smoke bombs could affect everyone in an H = 5 game but are there any other ways people have thought up?

2) That gosh darn infected achievement is elusive as always. Would a member of the rabid horde be willing to play with me?

There was a fairly recent thread on the Steam forums talking about how to do the five redirects achievement, I know that much. :B

When I finally did the Redirection acheivement some time ago I believe I setup the following.   Blade Battalion hit Tachyon who was highest redirected by Synaptic Interruption to the lowest health hero, which got redirected by Wraith’s smoke bombs, which got redirected to Scholar with Alchemial Redirection, which got redirected to Legacy with Lead from the Front, and finally sent to Stealth Bot.

Yeah, your best bets definitely revolve around Lead from the Front, Synaptic Interruption, Stealth Bot, and Smoke Bombs.  I think in mine I managed to redirect to Tachyon twice using 2 different Synaptic Interruptions.  Argent Adept helps as well, since with Scherzo of Frost and Flame, you can adjust people's hps to be exactly where you need them.  In particular, if everyone is at the same hp, they're all the highest and lowest for smoke bombs.

I don't know how I got infected as easily as I did.  I almost never play any games as online multiplayer, but I think I got infected by chance the first time I ever did.

I got it on my first try. That's because I played online the day the game came out

I tried that but think I just hit the lull between GMT and EST time zones…

Also living in GMT can mean organising games with folks is sometimes tricky but I am game.

I believe I got the redirects by taking Legacy, Wraith, the Scholar, the Naturalist, and Fanatic out to play, Legacy, Naturalist, and Scholar got their respective "redirect to me"s out, Wraith played Smoke Bombs, and Fanatic shot herself in the face a bunch and then hit someone to redirect all their damage to her. Then someone attacked Legacy, which redirected to Fanatic, which redirected through Smoke Bombs to the Scholar, which redirected to Legacy, which redirected to the Naturalist, which redirected back to the Scholar.

(Also good choice - Unity. Keep the Stealth Bot out as the only bot, and use smoke bombs, and you've got two redirects to start.)

The Enclave of the Endlings is also helpful, since it has both Bloogo and Immutus (and Rook City Wraith can help get both out as well as supply Smoke Bombs). I think I got mine by getting Mainstay tied for lowest HP with Stealth Bot and using Human Shield, Smoke Bombs, Stealth Bot, Bloogo, and Immutus.

When the Redirect achievement first came out it was a lot harder than it is now, since we now have so many lovely redirecting characters we can use.  Also note that the villain can get in on the fun too.  I personally recommend borrowing Blade's Elemental Redistributor.

I wonder how many other sources you would need in addition to Glamour, and then bouncing a shot across multiple nemeses?
