Reading the bio and noting the dialogue in game when CC is in first position, I’m going to make a wild unsubstantiated guess that the condition is:
Win a game vs Heroic Infinitor with Captain Cosmic on the team. Infinitor must have flipped, and Captain Cosmic must be incapacitated.

It's not that at all. I unlocked Requital by defeating Villainous Infinitor (and he never flipped, either). My last move was a 22-point Construct Cataclysm (boosted thanks to Parse) that took down Infinitor. We've also seen several different environments (I was in SIlver Gulch, someone else was on a MDP).
Remember how, when we were dealing with XPWCC, we thought it had to do with having one of each Construct type in play? I suspect that may be it this time.
But it appears to be:
Win a game against Villainous Infinitor with base Captain Cosmic on the team. [Something else.]

Freedom Tower
Regular Infinitor
Regular Cosmic
Team order: Cc, Legacy, SS Tachyon
I beat him with a 16 Construct Cataclysm. Played a conservation of energy through an augmented ally to get play two constructs.
then destroyed Infinitor.
captain cosmic had like 6/7 maybe more constructs in him.
i beat Heroic Infinitor before (on both sides).

Aww. And here I was having a grand old time with Lead From the Front / Next Evolution / Dynamic Siphon, building up CC's stuff in play against flipped Heroic Infinitor while my baby slept on my shoulder. It may be an annoying battle that way, but at least I was in no danger. Good job, early unlock folks, and I'll sit back and save my unlock for potential condition testing later...

This is my favourite Captain Cosmic.
This variant makes him my favourite hero. ALL THE CHAOS
I played vs the Infinitor in Freedom Tower and used 5 heroes.
CC destroyed as much villain targets as possible and a lot of constructs were destroyed, he dealt the finishing blow.
I use my iPad and have no access to a game log, sorry.

Unlocked.
Infinitor in the Block vs Legacy, Captain Cosmic and Tempest.
Cosmic dealt the final blow with a Construct Cataclysm of 9 constructs, one being destroyed twice thanks to Sustained Influence. Infinitor flipped and every Construct or Manifestation was seen and destroyed at least once.

Unlocked
Villain - Infinitor
Environment - Final Wasteland
Heroes - Legacy, Visionary, Fugue State Parse, Captain Cosmic (in that order)
CC did most of the damage, though everyone did some. CC got the final blow, with a Construct Cataclysm of 4 constructs. All of Infinitor's Manifestations were seen and destroyed. NOT all of CC's constructs saw play (I know for a fact that Wounding Buffer did not see play)
My idea for unlock conditions are...
Defeat Infinitor with Captain Cosmic present. CC must get the final blow. No Constructs or Manifestations can be in play at game's end.

No unlock.
Cosmic dealt final blow to Infinitor with Construct Cataclysm and destroyed many of his own Contructs for damage to Infinitor. He dealt a lot of damage over the course of the game but destroyed very few if any manifestations.

It was very early in the morning as I woke up and I had some spare time for 1 game as I fortunately unlocked Requital CC.
If you click on my unlock picture I posted above you will see that it's Xtreme AA turn as I unlocked the variant. I used his base power to destroy a contruct and CC was able to deal 1 damage to 3 targets, which did the final blow. I am pretty sure that I had much more constructs out as Construct Cataclysm wasn't enough to deal the final blow on CC turn and I wanted that all the Autonomous Blades stay for 1 more round in play. Than I had the idea on Xtreme AA turn to destroy a contruct.

I would like to add some more information regarding my unlock. Infintor had to reshuffle his deck, I destroyed each manifestation at least once.
CC had on the first round 5 constructs on the field, I played a lot of them over the course of that game and I am pretty sure each type of construct was played at least once.
I wish iOS-users could access game logs.

There was a Crushing Cage and a Twisted miscreation in play in my unlock. Infinitor at the Block, CC, Legacy & Ra. Killed Infinitor with a 14 point ConCat, 11 Constructs killed. Infinitor shuffled his deck, as he does, and I'm pretty sure every Manifestation got played and popped at least once.

Things we can confirm:
1) Environment Doesn't Matter
2) Captain Cosmic and Infinitor are required
3) Captain Cosmic does not need to be in a particular spot
Questions:
1) Did anyone beat Heroic Infinitor before or after?
2) How are you all doing?

Legacy, CC and Tempest in MDP.
In my first FAILED attempt, I saw all Manifestations, but I did NOT destroy an Ocular Swarm. Defeated Infinitor with a big Construct Cataclysm.
In the unlock, I did see and destroy every type of Manifestation. Also won by Cataclysm.

Unlocked, first attempt.
Infinitor vs base CC, grandpa legs, PW fanatic, team leader Tachyon, and XPW AA (all for extra card draw and funnel most powers to CC)
Edit: fought at the Block.
Won with CC using construct cataclysm to deal final blow.
All constructs and manifestations were out of play. Saw all at least once.
Other heroes did kill manifestations, including environment killed at least 1.
No incaps.
CC cycled through deck at least once, so did infinitor.
Much healing was had by grandpa legs, gung-ho, and motivational strike, and cosmic crest.
My guess for unlock conditions:
defeat infinitor with construct cataclysm. Every unique manifestation must have been played and beaten at least once. Every unique construct must have been played and destroyed at least once.

Here’s a more useful one: normal CC, Legacy, Chrono, KNYFE in Final Wasteland. Neither all manifestations nor all constructs entered play. CC won using Harsh Offence. No incapacitations. No unlock.
How the heck are you all getting such giant Cataclysms? I can’t get any constructs to survive a single round. And my games with Infinitor are usually only 3-5 rounds long.

Unflagging Animation, and a team of card-players (Omnitron-X, Fugue State Parse, America's Greatest Legacy) all feeding CC card plays or powers. Also, a lot of taking out of Manifestations. Most of the game Infinitor started his turn with max one Manifestation standing. (Parse is really good against Twisted Miscreations.)
I can also confirm there's only one game needed; my unlock game was the first I played after Captain Cosminfinitor went live to be unlocked.

Funny enough, before reading the last two comments, I switched to Operation: All The Constructs (Greatest Legacy, Omnitron-X, Rogue Agent KNYFE, PW CC) and it worked nicely. It helped that I got only one nasty Insanity round. Final Wasteland helped a lot, too. Definitely saw and destroyed at least one manifestation of each type, but one was still in play. CC dealt the final blow with his own Cosmic Weapon. No unlock. Once again, this leaves a few options: either PW CC is not legal, or all types of construct must be destroyed and not just played, or the final blow must be dealt by a certain subset of cards (seems unlikely).

Just unlocked Captain Composite myself. Was in the Block, and the line-up/order was normal CC, Parse, Grampa Legs, PWAA and Tempest.
The first turn was pretty standard, though luck was on my side since AA quickly got out Supertonic and the harp with Subdominant not far behind, allowing multiple free powers and plays when teamed up with Gramps. Now Gramps got out Lead From The Front pretty quick and took a decent beating(went down to 14), but after getting a Fortitude and Buckler or two was able to eat everything Infinitor could dish out. Parse and Tempest were on offence, taking down Manifestations and Infinitor's health bit by bit(along with keeping the enviro in check/clear), Gramps helping and healing with Motivational Charge where and when we could afford it. It took quite a while to finally draw Cataclysm(was in CC's last 10 cards of his deck), but with focused power usages and draws given to him by AA, it was soon in hand and used to do a 18-construct strike against a 2-hp Infinitor. He had milled his deck once and re-shuffled, revealing each Manifestation at least once, and CC had shown at least one of each of his Constructs. Not a single Construct had been destroyed all game, and no Manifestations were in play when we made the final blow.
I was quite lucky throuout this fight, but I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth. :)
Edit: Added the tidbit about no Manifestations in play at end of game.

And here's mine. I'm now fairly confident that having all Constructs be destroyed is required. Things that still need to be tested:
Whether Prime Wardens CC will work
Whether all Manifestations all need to come into play, or all be destroyed (tricky to prevent in what could be a long game--I'm thinking an infinite Take Down/Recall from the Deep loop, may have to restart a bunch)
Whether CC has to deal the final blow
If CC does not have to deal the final blow, whether he can be incapacitated
Also, what the heck this has to do with Requital's back story. I'm just glad my initial guess was wrong--I was thinking you'd have to redirect otherwise-fatal damage from CC to Heroic Infinitor somehow. But the only way I could think of to do that was Maze of Mirrors, and orchestrating that exact scenario would be a nightmare.

Got it this afternoon with CC, XPWAA, TLT, Legacy, and Omnitron X against Villanpus Infinitor in Freedom Tower. My first attempt failed because right before I launched concat infintor was beaten by feedback damage from wounding buffer (side note: for some reason that unlocked heroic Infinitor) in the second game Infinitor had one of those unfortunate chains of cards that plays a bunch of stuff and had all manifestations out by turn 2. Destroyed them all and used the holographic simulator room to put one benign one back into play each turn to keep him flipped on the straight jacket side. Omni-x used his base power to let CC do a ConCat for the win and the unlock

Successful unlock.
Vanilla Infinitor vs Vanilla CC, Old Legs, Omni-X and Rogue Knyfe in the Final Wastelands.
Thanks to a team about power usage, CC played every construct and every construct except Energy Blade was used at least once. He used both Harsh Offense and Potent Disruption as well as Destructive Response, Sustained Influence and Unflagging Animation. At least one of each Manifestation entered play, and at least one of each Manifestation was destroyed, as well as infinitor flipping over and then back once.
No Incapped Heroes at the end, CC scored the kill with Construct Cataclysm, using 13 Constructs to do so.

Having all constructs in play (or destroyed) is not necessary, I never saw Cosmic Crest or Wounding Buffer in my unlock, but all manifestations had definitely been played. Finished with a cataclysm, so no constructs on the board at the end, but Infinitor had a single Hellion in play so that's not a requirement either. Team was Cosmic, Young Legacy and Ra in the Block.

See my earlier post. Crushing Cage and Twisted Miscreation in play.
CC was the first hero, I won by him plying Construct Cataclysm for 14 points of damage as part of his play phase. It was not possible for me to destroy the Manifestations in play before killing him.
EDIT: has anyone unlocked with Infinitor on his "Tormented Malefactor" (original) side?
If not, based on what we've seen (Roger the Alien unlocked with constructs in play via destructive response):
Defeat Infinitor on his Unstable Despoiler side. Captain Cosmic must land the final blow. At least one of each of Infinitor's Unique Manifestations must have been destroyed during the game, and at least one of Captain Cosmic's Constructs must be destroyed in the turn that Infinitor has been defeated.

Or if anyone unlocks without a construct card entering the trash in the final turn.

Does one each of Infinitors Manifestations need to be killed?

Has anyone unlocked it without playing Cosmic Crest?

2 failed attempts
Granpa Legs, base CC, Knyfe, and BoT Ranger vs base Infinitor at the Block.
For the 1st one, Knyfe did the final damage. I had 5 constructs in play at the end, lost a couple to villain targets and did not destroy any from any of CC's cards.
On the 2nd one, CC did the final damage with Potent Disruption. I had 6 constructs in play at the end, had previously lost two to villain targets and one to Potent Disruption, but I brought that back with Sustained Influence.
I think one of the conditions is to destroy a certain number of Constructs (or maybe even have a certain number in CC's discard pile). The smallest number I've seen someone destroy is 4 (has anyone unlocked with fewer?). So I'll try to have 4 destroyed by villains in my next game to test if CC has to be the one to destroy them.

The only things base CC did were discard 4 different construct cards for the environment and skipped his turn twice, which he was doing anyway, to destroy meteor storms. I played several games now with the Captain Cosmic variants against base Infinitor. Each game I made sure to cycle through infinitor’s deck. Also making sure that all of Captain Cosmic’s cards are played and ending with a large Construct Cataclysm (at least 15 points). Other teammates were OX, KNYFE rogue agent, and SS Tachyon (CC always in the last position). Always in the Block.
No Unlock was achieved.
I had to make sure my testing was valid with a positive control so I repeated with base Captain and the unlock was granted. Based on this I think we can say that base Captain Cosmic is required. Unfortunately that puts me out of the testing for this variant.

Well, got my unlock. It was a stupidly long fight, so probably no real help in analysis, but I'll post the log anyway.
I finished the fight with a Construct Cataclysm as many others have. I know there are some reports of finishing the unlock without getting all the construct types out, or without finishing it with a cataclysm, so I have a question: Has anyone unlocked without playing Construct Cataclysm at all?
Maybe this is one of those "must have played" requirements, rather than a "final hit" or whatever.

Just as a point of comparison here in case it hasn’t come up elsewhere, I had a successful unlock without him flipping.

Got him. Log is attached. Next thing that happened was a construct cataclysm for the final hit.
Cosmic never played cosmic crest or augmented allies but all other constructs entered play. As far as one shots, he played harsh offense and construct cataclysm. Also played sustained influence via cosmic's power.
Every one of Infinitor's manifestations entered play. Not just every type, every card. None were remaining on the field of battle when Cosmic landed the final hit.

Thanks! Next question: Has anyone unlocked either without playing Construct Cateclysm or with playing it, but destroying fewer than 4 constructs?

Another fail log.
CC, Legacy, TLT, O-X, Haka in Freedom Tower versus Infinitor.

Maybe it’s a ratio, that their needs to be a equal number of constructs and manifestations that have to enter play?

Still holding off on my unlock if anyone has something they want me to test. My preferred team for this would be CC / Redeemer Fanatic and some form of Haka, since it looks like team comp doesn't matter a bit.

Can you count how many constructs CC put on himself?
also! I just had this thought. Whenever you use his power (every turn if able) or through another heroes abilities, always put it in play. Maybe that’s it?

I unlocked. I used Cataclysm to destroy every kind of construct, but later on I killed Infinitor with Potent Disruption.
I suspect that CC has to deal the killing blow with damage caused by a destroyed construct. But I believe any of the three effects, either of the one-shots that damage based on destroying constructs or the ongoing that triggers when a construct is destroyed, can be the source.

I got it off of Harsh Offense, which trashes constructs but does not destroy them. Used it on my failure, too.
Might be related to Cataclysm. I used it in my success but not my fail.

Yeah, Infinitor's not my favorite to fight against, so I think I'm gonna hold off and wait for y'all to figure this out.

I'm coming from the Steam forums in hopes that someone here might've had some added insight, but it seems both groups are pretty stuck. We've had unlocks with no ongoings in play. There have been no common constructs to all the unlocks. At least 5 constructs and 10 manifestations have been destroyed in each unlock, and all manifestations have been played (though not necessarily destroyed). Hope this might help, but it seems you've already figured out most of it.

Looks like all of the successful unlocks so far have had CC playing at least one construct on each hero. Is there a counterexample?

Can you try to unlock without playing Construct Cateclysm?
Edit: If you try, be sure that you destroy at least 4 constructs from non-Cateclysm CC cards.

That is really important info. Based on that I would say:
Defeat Infinitor with base Captain Cosmic on the team. Captain cosmic must deal the final blow to Infinitor and there must be less than 4 constructs and manifestations in play at the time of victory.

I think I had more than 4 constructs. Check my log. I got it by an accidental click (I meant to put it in hand and not trash).

Thanks! With that in mind, here's my guess:
win a game vs Base Infinitor. Base Captain Cosmic must deal the final blow and must destroy at least 4 Constructs with his cards.

Nope. I tried this, no unlock unfortunately. I had Legacy, PWAA, CC, Mister fixer, and tempest in the temple of Zhu Long vs infinator. Didn't play all constructs. The game was mega easy cause Resurrection Ritual was played and it ate up all his manifestations. On IOS so no log.

Thought I might as well throw my unlock log up on here. Don't know if it helps. Went the finish Infinitor of with Cataclysm using Base CC route.

For what it's worth, I got the unlock and I had 5 in play – 3 constructs (dynamic, bracer, vitality) and 2 manifestations (ocular and miscreation). Unless you meant less than 4 of each?
I got the kill with Harsh Offense, never played Cataclysm. I only ever destroyed 1 construct with a CC card – Potent Disruption breaking a Dynamic Siphon.

The official unlock condition for Captain Cosmic: Requital has been discovered by the community!
Defeat Infinitor with regular Captain Cosmic on the team. 10 Manifestations and 5 Constructs must be destroyed. Captain Cosmic must deal the final blow to Infinitor.

I was all set to get the unlock at the start of the next round and then Crystalloid Behemoth came and stole my kill!
Also, as good as Fugue State Parse is, she's completely useless when she's in crushing cages all game. Although I found out that with her incap power that allows a hero to choose the order of their play, power, and draw, if you choose draw first, you get to draw 2 cards, because you technically haven't played a card or used a power that turn.

You haven't played much against Wager Master, have you? His card that reverses the hero turn order does the same thing.

Not quite the same thing, but VotM Miss Information's Twisted Reality lets you play a card at the end of your turn so if you skip your first play you get to draw an extra card and play a card.

Are 10 and 5 exact numbers, or should it unlock when I destroy more than that? I let Haka eat most of the Manifestations, so it might be they have to enter the trash? Unless they have to be exact numbers, then that is the reason for no unlock…

It is at least that many, not exactly that many. Either targets placed under Savage Mana don't count, or you need to update and make sure you have Captain Cosmic: Requital available to unlock.
