Legacy, Ra, and Tachyon vs. Challenge Plague Rat in the Block.
Not gonna lie, I don't typically enjoy 3 H games against Plague Rat, though this team looks like it could at least hold its own in the damage / damage prevention race.

Mint. Tachyon was down at the end but Ra and Legacy managed to push through it thanks to Flesh of the Sun God and Imbued Fire preventing them from dealing too much damage to themselves.
Mint. Ra was an easy MVP as there's nothing like a nice cleansing fire to burn out all of the nasty toxins.
Mint. Imbued Fire + Flesh of the Sun God MVP. Plague Rat had one most boring playthroughs I've seen - Three Afflicted Frenzies in a row. Tachyon spent a great deal of time shooting fire at Ra, which he ignored, as gods do.
Near Mint. Lost my first game by a turn, Plague Rat had two HP but got Ra before Ra could get him.
Second game I put the first infection on Tachyon where it belonged and Imbued/Flesh neutralized so much of the damage that it was an easy victory.
Easy Mint. Tachyon got the first infection, and Flesh + Imbued Fire protected us. At the end it was Legacy at 14, Ra at 20, and Tachyon at 3.
Mint with everyone standing, and as everyone else says, Imbued Fire + Flesh of the Sun God is the winning play here. I put the first infection on Ra, though, for the extra damage against Plague Rat.
I feel dumb for not minting this. D: It was close, though!
I feel it belongs on Ra who can deal some extra damage while the Plague Locus remains out. The second infection hit very late in the game so I didn't have to use the power on Flesh of the Sun God but instead continue to burn everything.
As a general rule I kill the Locus first against the Rat, so that was minimal. But yeah, if you keep it around, that can be a viable strategy too.
Mint.
Same story--Flesh of the Sun God and Imbued Fire and Tachyon doing so. much. damage.
Legacy at 7HP, Ra at 18HP and Tachyon at 5HP.
If only Next Evolution was useful against Infection.
But no, Infection goes off after Next Evolution ends, even though infection came into play before Next Evolution. Damnit.
That said, still an easy mint.
Imbued Fire + FotSG + Heroic interception FTW!
Mint, barely (Ra only, at 4 HP), due to several stupid timing mistakes on my part. It's not bad at all as long as you're careful. But once Ra was the last one standing, with Imbued Fire + Flesh of the Sun God, it was pretty much a lockdown. He can play a Staff of Ra every round--sometimes twice in one round--and without Plague Locus or Advanced Mode, Plague Rat has a really hard time keeping up with that.
This really bugged me as well. I would have thought that it worked the other way around.
Unfortunately, effects that end at SoT end immediately upon hitting SoT, then triggers happen in order they came into play.
That's my understanding, anyway.
Easy Mint here, even with a couple of things that I normally wouldn't do (discarding Fleet of Foot with Tach's base power both times I saw it, for example). I misplayed Legacy on the final round, thinking I could play Heroic Interception for free - as it turns out, I hadn't used Flesh of the Sun God the previous turn and Legacy ended up dying to Char that round. Didn't matter, Plague Rat was down to 2 HP after Ra, Tachyon, and Char unloaded on him that round, and Ra and Tach were both still in the teens.
Wait, why did you discard Fleet of Foot? Fleet of Foot replaces itself, so I can't see any benefit to doing such a thing.
I was in the mode of "if burst, discard" since I wanted to boost up those Lightspeed Barrages as much as possible. It may not have been the best play, but it didn't end up hurting my options at all. The other two both had plenty to do anyway.
The thing is, you end up with the same number of cards in the trash regardless. Either you discard Fleet of Foot and draw the next card (we'll say Sucker Punch in this case), or you draw Fleet of Foot, and then the next turn you play it, draw the Sucker Punch, and you still have the same number of plays as you did before, and once Fleet of Foot resolves you have the same number of cards in the trash.
The only case it's different is if you plan on playing Lightspeed Barrage as your first play next turn, because the Fleet of Foot won't have left play yet so it won't be counted. But that's only if you plan on using the Lightspeed Barrage on your very next play - in all other cases it's advantages.
Like you say, it doesn't really matter for this particular game, though.
