So, I was playing a game recently, simulating my homebrew Rick and Morty themed Weekly One-Shot, when I found a pair of bugs involving La Capitan (and also a cool Easter Egg.)
The team was Chrono-Ranger, Setback, and ExPatriette vs La Capitan, Baron Blade, and Proletariat at the Time Cataclysm.
The environment’s Super Computer (I don’t remember the name. Shame on me) was out, and La Capitan played Throwback, causing the Environment to play an entire turn. So, all the heroes drew a card, as per the start of the turn. Then an environment card was played… And that was it. No villain cards were played.
This was then repeated later, during a Throwback DURING a Stitch in Time.
The second bug happened during said Stitch in Time/Throwback combo. I am pretty sure it is relevant that it happened out of turn, as the exact same scenario occurred DURING her turn, and the bug did not occur.
During her extra turn, La Capitan played Off Tiempo, causing ExPatriette to discard 2 of her 4 cards. Then, with her End of Turn effect, it asked me to choose which hero had the most cards in hand, between ExPatriette (with 2) and Chrono-Ranger (with 4!) I suspect that, since this all happened within the same phase-within-a-phase (within a phase?), the algorithm got confused about when to check hand size.
As for the Easter Egg: if you hit the Undo button while Stitch In Time is in effect (during La Capitan’s Environment Turn Villain Turn) a purple message appears below the green phase selection boxes, saying something like “Multiple access points available. Temporal stream disrupted.”
