Hello, I was able to re-download season 1 and 2.
The problem is... It happened several times. The progress was for example at 67%, 68%, 69% and then it startet again at 0%, 1%, 2% and switched back to 70%, 71% and so on. It finished and still downloaded again with up to 2 or 3 different progress.
If I check the size of the app for my iPad Air 2 the following is displayed: 6,39 GB!!!
Could somebody check their size for the app if he/she also uses iOS?
Maybe I could reinstall the app but I do not want to lose my achievements. I am no expert, I never did it.
If I click in the settings of the iPad on the app, 5,57 GB are documents and data for the app.
I am sure before the update it was like 2 Gb overall for the app, I am not sure.
Has somebody any hints for me?
PS. English isn't my mother tongue, I hope that I could depict the problem properly.
AN ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: All the content wasn't locked anymore but the game still downloaded both seasons again and again.

Thank you for the answer. As already said, before the update it was also like 2 GB for me.
The "documents and data" part of the app is very big now if I check it in the settings of the iPad.
My assumption is that if I delete it altogether with the whole app my whole achievements will be lost...

If you delete the app your achievements will not be lost, but you would lose your Weekly One-Shot collection (unless you backup and restore your device).
The extra data is most likely marked as a temporary file and something iOS will automatically delete when needed. So I wouldn't worry about it unless it stays for a long time.

I had a similar issue. I got an error this morning telling me my 64 GB iPad was low on space, and when I checked, SOTM was listed as being 5+ GB. I went back in and did the download process again, and the file size decreased to where it was supposed to be.
Last night when I tried the download process, the season 1 and season 2 passes kept fluctuating wildly on the progress bar. When I did it again this morning, it was much more smooth. Perhaps there was still some weirdness on Apple's end as the kinks got worked out?
In any case, I did not need to delete and recover the app - simply redownloading the expansions did the trick.

2.31 GB, by the way, is the appropriate size when done.

Thank you for the answers. I still have over 35GB space on my iPad but nevertheless, over 6 GB for a single app is crazy.
I restored season pass 1 and 2 several times but it didn't help. I am not a fan of doing a backup, so I will wait a week and see if it will help^^
