Dark Watch Mr Fixer, Dark Watch setback, Dark Watch NightMist, Dark Watch Expatriette team up with Prime Wardens Argent Adept to face Fright Train, Friction, Ermine, Baron Blade and Proletariat in the Pike Industrial Complex.
Hint: Make sure Fixer gets a Jack Handle early and never let it go.

I want to say destruction was the big obstacle in this one. Like, I would get to Argent Adept's turn and all his stuff would just be gone. Sometimes, holding down tab all the time is not the best idea. :B Point being, holding on to that jack handle may be difficult.

Yeah, that's always been my biggest gripe about the Vengeant Five -- there is just way too much destruction to get any traction. It's one thing in a normal game where you might face a wipe at the Environment and the Villain turn, but in Vengeance, it feels like you can't count on any of your stuff to last to the next turn, let alone til the next round.

Near Mint for me on this one. First game looked like it was under control... until Revenant showed up and utterly demolished me. Back to back Vengeful Assaults from Baron Blade, along with Revenants universal +1 damage boost since Setback was in play was sheer and utter murder!

Mint. But it was close. Lost Mr. Fixer just when I had him fully set up. Lost Setback a few rounds later. But Countpoint Bulwork and Mist Form kept the remaining heroes alive at 3-4 while Expat and the Environment finished off the villains.

Mint.
But it was reeeeaaal close.
Using Jack Handle and figuring out ways to keep it around are really helpful.
I used Mistbound on Baron Blade on Turn 1, so my run may be different from other people's.
Tantrum was a good friend, getting rid of vats I didn't want around, and freeing the team to use Cause and Effects and RPG Launchers on Villain Ongoings instead.
Argent Adept, Setback and Expatriette went down (Setback and Expartriette to Nightmist's last Oblivion--which also took out Friction, Blade and Proletariat). Fright Train had fallen into a Supercooled Tri-Solvent Vat a round or two earlier, so all Mr. Fixer had to do was use his Jack'ed up power on Expatriette's incap turn to take Ermine down for the win.
Fixer and Nightmist stood at the end, each with 2HP.

Minty Fresh goodness, which can be viewed on twitch by clicking right ... here I don't remember as much destruction as the rest of you are mentioning but it was late at night and I barely remember anything about it! We lost no heroes and I don't think any of them ever had any Damage Reduction/Redirection so I guess we just out muscled the foes!

Mint. Expatriette was incapped at just the right time, letting me take out Ermine's redirection card in time for a A(T)C/DC DWF to kill of Blade and deal an additional 13 damage to a full Health Ermine. She didn't get another turn.
I never had the Jack handle out, though that could have been helpful. I kept the Dual Crowbars the whole time.

Ugh. My least favorite heroes (Dark Watch) combined with my least favorite setup (Vengeance). A nasty long slog where all of the heroes' setups keep getting destroyed. I think I'm going to pass and wait for next week.

Mint with Fixer at 19, Setback at 12, Nightmist at 14, Expat at 18, and PW Argent Adept at 18. And it would have been higher if Fixer hadn't punched Setback for 5 with the first hit of Crowbars to make sure they didn't get another turn.
This was one of the easiest Vengeance games I've ever had. Felt like the game was pitching underhanded. We won on Setback's fifth turn. Might have been able to do it a little sooner, I think going for Ermine when I did was overkill. The KO order was Proletariat, Ermine, Friction, Fright Train, Blade.
- Fixer/Nightmist/Expat all did tons of AOE damage, including Expat dropping 6 on everyone but Ermine in one turn (curse you, Uncatchable)
- Setback/Expat/AA had multiple instances of Ongoing destruction each (and I never even saw Vernal Sonata!)
- AA let Fixer play a Charge off-turn to go with his Jack Handle
It was a slaughter. The only thing that slowed us down was Fixer getting hit with Regression Darts because he had the highest HP at the time.

Off topic, but this made me wonder…If Dark Watch Fixer gets hit with the darts, to what state does he regress?
Does he come all the way back to life?
Or does he regress to being "just" dead?
If regular Mr. Fixer gets hit with regression darts, does he gain sight? How would he handle that?

I never even saw Regression Darts. then again, I killed Constant Prattle before Ermine's first turn.

So did I. You must have KO'd Blade faster than I did, or maybe Mistbound him? Or you got a different result off A Chance at Vengeance, I suppose (I got Major Flay out of Fright Train).

I found that Mistbinding Friction was extremely beneficial, as well as going after her and Ermine first. I've found that Friction's guaranteed 1 ongoing/equipment destruction is way more preferable than letting her build up.

Near Mint. Just couldn't keep up with the destruction the first time around, and this is a setup-heavy team. Every time I play with Dark Watch I hate them more.

Near Mint. The first game was just bad, but the second game, I stuck with Crowbars and made sure to take out Constant Prattle FIRST. It made things SO MUCH easier.

Fright Train was down well before ACaV was played. He's generally my first target whenever available. The Seer was the one who flipped for that card.
I killed them FT, Proletariat, then Friction/Blade/Ermine in quick succession.

Near Mint. Revenant and Impulsion Beam wrecked me the first time out. Second time, I was more prepped for when they hit and could deal with them. Also, I kept the healing vat out for as long as I could (until the explosion); it cut down on a lot of the boosted damage, and when it exploded it wrecked the villains as badly as the heroes.

+1 to that. The DW modifications to Setback and Nightmist are almost crippling. Most of Nightmist's impactful plays depend upon her discarding cards, and her DW version doesn't give her dependable card draw to fill her hand. Similarly, Setback depends upon building up his unlucky pool for stuff like Turn of Events, Cash Out, and Karmic Retribution, but the DW version gets rid of a free card draw-n-play that adds tokens, and substitutes a piddly single instance of -2DR that subtracts tokens. DW Fixer in some situations is a great teammate, but against five villains that excel in setup destruction, having a hero that destroys still more setup is ridiculous. Expatriette – in either version – is probably my least favorite hero. As a damage dealer, she's far less dependable than any of the other damage-dealing heroes (Ra, Haka, ChronoRanger, KNYFE), and far too prone to sitting for turn after turn with no decent guns or cards in hand, and no dependable way to draw them.

Mint here. Had Nightmist at 3 health, Expatriette at 2, and Mr. Fixer at 1. Setback and Argent Adept were down. On Nightmist's first turn, I did a headless lash that lead to a Mistbound on Baron Blade. I didn't keep any of Mr. Fixer's tools around, but I also just had him destroying his own stuff. I targeted Ermine when I could, used Fright Train for Crowbar boosts, and took out Friction's gear ASAP. When I couldn't target Ermine, I'd target Proletariat. I never saw Revenant.

Mint. Very close game. Everyone dead but Nightmist in Mist form and Fright Train. Supercooled Trisolvent Vat out in environment. Waited it out to let the vat kill him. Thankfully drew another Mist form for when Friction destroyed the current form.
