I was playing a game in iOS against Grand Warlord Voss involving Haka in the Temple of Zhu Long.  Haka had Savage Mana in play, and there were two interactions that seemed to be at odds:

1.  The Temple had Resurrection Ritual in play.  Resurrection Ritual says that whenever a villain target is destroyed, put it under Resurrection Ritual.  This would seem to contradict Savage Mana, because Savage Mana says to put a target that Haka destroys under Savage Mana.  When Haka killed one of Voss' minions, the game gave the option of putting the minion under Savage Mana or under Resurrection Ritual.

2.  When Haka tried to kill a Shinobi Assassin, however, the game would not give the option of putting the Shinobi Assassin under Savage Mana; it wouldn't let Savage Mana take effect.

Is this as intended?  Should Resurrection Ritual trump Savage Mana (or whichever is played first should take effect first)?  Should Haka be permitted to put Shinobi Assassins under Savage Mana?

For Res Ritual, they have the same trigger, so the player(s) determine the order of effects.

These are not at odds.

Shinobi Assassin has different wording to both Savage Mana and Resurrection Ritual, the key being

"When this card would be destroyed, move it to the top of a Hero deck instead."

the Assassin is never actually destroyed, it is instead moved.

Both Savage Mana and Resurrection Ritual rely on the target being destroyed so trigger at the same time, thus the players get to choose what happens to the villain target.
