I was trying to take the new Termi-Nation heroes for a spin, and I had the game spit me out a random combination of: (1) Captain Cosmic; (2) Parse; (3) Termi-Nation Bunker, and (4) Termi-Nation Unity against the Ennead in Silver Gulch.

Talk about annoying!   The Ennead just kept killing off Unity's bots and CC's constructs (with the help of the various environment AOE damage cards), while bleeding the other characters dry and making things generally difficult with Ancient Magicks and Mass Overheating.   Parse's deck control doesn't really work as well against the Ennead because it requires a discard, which just gives them more power usages.  And don't get me started on the number of times you have to hit fast-forward when Elemental Storm comes out, and you have to redirect every single instance of 1 damage away from (ex:) 4 heroes, 5 bots and 3 constructs....

I've replayed it several times, and although I've won most of the time, I don't think I've ever had the sort of usual easy victory against the Ennead where all of the heroes are at >20HP.  Next step might be to try Advanced or Challenge mode, but with this hero team, that'd be tough.  Just thought I'd pass it on for anyone else looking for an interesting challenge.

I had a slightly easier time with this. The only reason I didn't end with everyone in the 20s was a last-round Explosives Barrel that went off because Elemental Storm hit a full-health Cryo Bot ('sup 4 damage to everything). On the plus side, that Explosives Barrel killed off four Golems, each of which triggered Volatile Parts twice, so Unity + Explosives Barrel took the Ennead from 5 active members down to 1 on the villain's own turn.

The biggest problem I ran into with this team was Osiris. While the discarding works well with TN Unity's base power, it most certainly does not work well with Crit Multiplier. I ended up doing bonus damage to myself with all four characters thanks to Champion Bot, Wounding Buffer, Turret Mode, and Critical Multiplier. Even with all that, Nuit at the start, and a double Rise to Power, we won with CC at 8 HP, Parse at 13, TN Bunker at 14, and TN Unity at 12.

Why not choose one of the bots to get damage boost?

Good call, would have saved me a couple HP. Parse isn't quite ingrained in my memory yet.
