Ambuscade Random Start vs Captain Cosmic, Unity, The Adamant Sentinels, Visionary and Legacy.
Every hero currently with multiple hero targets and Legacy for damage boosts. Fairly easy mint. Best turn was 39 damage to Ambuscade, although he his and healed twice the turn after.

And it's in Realm of Discord, which I forgot to put in the first message. Bad brain!

Easy mint. On my first turn I had all four Signatures down. Time Crawls was in play the whole game and it was still pretty easy.

Easy fun. Did not unlock TN Unity, which I suspect may have something to do with the setup...

Mint. It turns out that when Legacy has two Energy Bracers, Fortitude, Lead From the Front, and you keep Wresting the Mind of the Etheral Bonds at him, there's very little Ambuscade can do to hurt you.

So what you're saying is that no hero targets took damage?

Mint.
Pretty straightforward -- Ambuscade played 10 or 11 cards on his first turn, but Visionary Wrested the Mind of a Sonic Mine and then it didn't matter so much.
Imbued Vitality came out on the first environment turn and was out the whole game, so there were a LOT of targets, like the title indicates. With Dynamic Siphon on Legacy to double boost damage and Autonomous Blades on Idealist and Mainstay, it didn't take too long.
All heroes right around 20 HP at the end, with the Sentinels near full HP.

Mint. Almost a flawless victory -- only Legacy was even wounded at the end, and he was only down 3HP. Stacking and re-stacking Vanish on Ambuscade's deck via Viz, and two Take Downs followed by three Heroic Interceptions in a row from Legacy (nice when you can redirect the 3 melee damage to an immune-courtesy-of-Heroic-Interception Stealth Bot) meant that after his initial flurry of devices, Ambuscade never again played a card that could damage the heroes. I'd already unlocked TermiNation Unity, so no help to the community on that front.

Super easy mint for me. It took, I think, 4 rounds, and he never flipped.
He played an automated turret, his hand cannon, reactive plating, and a sonic mine for setup. First turn he did a Snatch and Grab. Visionary used Wrest the Mind on the Plating to kill it and hurt him a bit. Thump + chains and human shield took care of the mine.
Then Delusions came out.
Second round, he put out another Turret.
Then a portal fiend. We killed it.
Third round, I precog-d him into setting a trap. Legacy played Interception, just to be safe. We got Ghostly Images, which played 3 of our one-shots for a bunch of damage.
Fourth round, he set another trap. Then he died.

At least last time you could accidently nuke yourself with End of Days; I don't think there's actually a way to lose this fight outside of just being dumb. He did pretty much the best thing he could to me, starting out with two Reactive Platings, two Sonic Mines, and Charged Attacks, which pretty much paralyzed any progress I could make until my digging produced Mental Divergence. Pretty much the only time I've had the Sentinels use the Idealist's signature as a priority. Despite being stalled for three turns or so it was still a slaughter.
Actually, what the REAL thing he did to try to stop me is make me resolve Explosive Launcher when he has Twist the Ether on him, I'm playing with 5 heroes including Unity, Captain Cosmic, and the Sentinels, I have Stealth Bot out, and Imbued Vitality is in play while I'm pretty set up. That's like, 3 prompts each for something like 25 hero targets. It could have been worse; I almost played Lead From The Front the previous turn too.

I had an easy Mint too, but it took me several rounds longer than some of you folks. Ambuscade opened 2x Reactive Plating and the Cloaking Device. Took a couple rounds to chip through the Platings, then when I killed the cloak, he played Vanish. Then I killed the Cloak and he Vanished again. Once I finally got him to stay NOT flipped, he was dead in two rounds because I'd had so much time to get set up. Wrest the Mind on the Ethereal Bonds also helped (I used them to take out the Sonic Mines).

Well, I was a little worried when he got a pretty good device draw on turn 1 and almost killed Idealist before she could go, but after that, it was all an easy Mint.

Yeah! the villain Ambuscade has some devices in his deck, which can be nasty, and Idealist si the youngest member of the Southwest Sentinels!
You should try them out, they've been out for a while

Huh. I'll look into that.
I only play games with superheroes that I've seen on TV and in movies. Like Skeletor.

I got the Cloak, a Sonic Mine, and a mess of damage on turn 1 also, and most of my hero one-shots were mass damage. I dealt with the Mine with a Wrest the Mind, so I had to spend quite a bit of effort healing and protecting the Idealist and the Visionary. After that it was cake, though. It takes a pretty atrocious game to make normal Ambuscade any kind of a challenge.

My most annoying Ambuscade games are when, thanks to his numerous "shuffle your trash into your deck" cards, he either plays the Rocket Launcher over and over, or when he plays Vanish or finds cloaking device with "fish for a device" cards over and over. He ends up just slamming lowest HP, and you can't damage him round after round. I still usually win those games (unless the environment is just being vile), but he can still be annoying.

I had a game like that once, but it was blamed mostly on shuffling, being physical cards and all. Haven't had one since. :)

Skeletor would be the best SotM villain ever.
You'd defeat his galaxy conquering plans only to find out that the win condition was not stopping him, but capturing him, and in the end he escapes and you lose.
It would be like Baron Blade hatching a scheme to destroy Megalopolis, only to have it narrowly thwarted by the Freedom V at the last second, they then arrest and lock him up.
Only to find out he did it all just so he could reveal his evil plot of creating a lock making company and winning the contract for the Maximum Security Prison so he could install locks that he could unlock at will with a subcutaneous tranceiver.
The prison changes the locks, the city survives, but deep inside, Baron Blade knows that he has proven his superiority.

Mint.
Ambuscade opened with the cloak, plating, rocket launcher, and a handgun, then played snatch and grab. Cosmic passed out swords to Vis and Unity on turn one, and between those and a couple of one shots from Legacy and the Sentinels, I had him down to just the plating for the second round.
Second round, he played and buried a trap.Vis suggestioned the gun back on top.
I accidentally set off Ambuscade's bomb trying to rig his deck with a premonition in the third round, which cleared out all of the constructs I had played. Finished him off during the third environment turn when ghostly images gave me a thokk and a horrifying dichotomy.
