XTreme Prime Wardens

Did they just hint at the XTreme Prime Warden variants coming on the last stream?

I didn't see last night's stream but any variant for current heroes in the game is certainly a possibility.  

I think just discussed the prime Wardens. I don't recall the X-Treme versions. But I was listening to it haphazardly. 

They were discussing implementing unlock conditions, and it came up that the unlock condition for Prime Wardens Fanatic was the only one that was outright changed as it was initially going to involve the Court of the Blood.  Since the Court of the Blood is not yet in the digital version, they changed it so that they could release all the Prime Wardens together. They said something in passing about this being maybe extreme spoilers or something like that...

Xtreme Prime Wardens?! please tell me that this is going to be a thing here soon!

It was that "extreme spoilers" part which caught my attention. John had just cautioned Jeremy when he was talking about Fanatic and then threw out that "extreme spoiler" comment. Just seemed intentional rather than just an offhand comment.

Well then I think you'll have to wait at least until Court of Blood and it's related things are released(can't remember right now what set CoB released with…). At least for XPWFanatic.

Court of Blood is in Villains. 

Ah, thank you. I had an inkling, but I wasn't very sure.

We'll have to remember this if the X-treme prime wardens appear after Villains comes out... But yeah,  both versions of the Prime Wardens Fanatic incap definitely look like she's in a fight with vampires.

Destroy all the Vampires with Wrathful Retribution only.

The Prime Wardens Fanatic shiny art looks like she is about to be bitten, and the Xtreme Prime Wardens Fanatic art it looks like Apostate has driven a stake through her heart. Could Xtreme Prime Wardens Fanatic be a Vampire?! Can't wait for the letters page now

That would fit right in with the 90s XTREME darker-and-edgier motif.

X-Treme PW, canonically, appear during the build up to the ObliVAeon conflict. They appeared while the normal PW were fighting a Scion… Progeny, I think, if not an unnamed one.

I wonder if they will appear in the digital game with the new art or with the foil art.

I'm pretty sure what Xtreme Apostate is doing on Xtreme PW Fanatic's Incapacitated side is cruxifying her, not staking her. The visible stake on the picture appears to be protruding from her hand, not her chest, and she's lying on a cross

Usually you get both!  The "Collector" tag will usually toggle between the two on the selection screen! Or is there newer art somewhere else?

Given the example of Omnitron-U, I'd guess the XTREME Wardens' foil and standard art will be largely the same for now.
