I feel like I saw this discussed in some topics way back, but I couldn't find the answer.  As far as I can tell, "Restart Game" serves as a complete re-seed -- all of the cards/draws/random seeds are different.

Sometimes, however, you don't want to scrap everything and start over with a whole new set of cards -- instead you get halfway through a game, and think (ex:) "Oh, wow - what would have happened if I had just played End of Days instead of Holy Nova 3 turns back?"   Is there an option to "Restart Game" that will let you restart with the same draw/random seed?

I don't believe so.  At one point there was a bug where doing a restart kept the same random seed.

I'd personally love an option to enter a specific seed. It could be a good way to ask for advice with a particular villain setup, or discover the nature of a bug in a scenario. Then, of course have the option to re-try a specific setup.

I'd also hope for an option to replay the same match (not card order) but on Advanced or Non-Advanced

I think mine might be doing that with "Riduculous Challenge time."  I swear, I've had the exact same starting point the last several resets.

I’d like to be able to turn Advanced on and off, or at least change it from side to side, or for some team villains and not others.

The Ennead, for instance; I think they’re perfect with the front side on advanced, but the back side not.

Similarly, I’d like to be able to have Proletariat keep multiplying, for instance, and keep Friction’s DR 1, but not have Ermine constantly destroying cards.

Do not think you can turn on and off the back side of Advanced Villans such as the Ennead. However if you double click to see the big card on a particular villan during the set up of Team Villans game. You have the option to turn that particular villans Advanced Rule on or off. This does not appear to change all of the villans options.

Which means you could set up a Team Villans game with Advanced Proletariat and Friction but normal Ermine.

Oh, neat! Like with The Sentinels! Perfect!

Still want the other thing though
