Apoaste comes to Megalopolis for some post-Christmas sales and finds Legacy, Sky-Scraper, Santa Guise, Setback and Prime Wardens Haka waiting for him. Violence ensues.
Very simple and straightforward. Legacy starts with Inspiring Presence and from there things only get painful for the Fallen Angel.
That was fun, Setback doing 8 or 9 damage a hit with Uh, Yeah I'm That Guy on Legacy. My finale was crazy: with a second Apocalypse in play and no one able to play cards, Guise unwrapped his gifts, got the Shooty Barbarian combo, and was able to do exactly enough damage to take out Apostate after he pulled two Pugilists out of the trash. Close, because it was right before Apocalypse would have taken everyone's stuff out.
Entertaining setup for sure.

Accidentally rewinded after clicking the wrong target to recieve damage, so a near-mint for me. Using Guise to copy inspiring is a good idea.

At one point, Apostate had the Periapt,Effigy, Runes, and Orb come out all in the same Profane Summons, but thankfully, Santa Guise decided to open his own presents, revealing (among a couple of other things) XTREEEEEEME! and a Blatant Reference.
How'dya like consistent, Legacy-buffed, irreducible, un-redirectable damage, you meddlesome relics? Santa Guise says, "Merry Christmas -- Eat Lead!"

No. I usually try to avoid drawing when the book is in play, if I can help it.
Book's easy to kill, especially with this team, and Legacy had a Bolster Allies to make up for those who missed the opportunity. :)
I had Guise copy Setback to use High Risk (which i put on right away and never took off) and Looking Up, two turns in a row. Some good damage there.
Depends, I skipped Legacy’s first draw and had a huge Skyscraper deal with the book right away.
IIRC, that's exactly what i did.

Skyscraper was the VIP for me. She took all the hits with 2 Thorathian Monoliths, including from her own power and one seriously boosted Rampage. She and Haka took out all the Relics and Demons (some twice) so Apostate never got to flip. Meanwhile, Setback and Guise nailed the big guy at every turn. Legacy buffed as he does, and took most of the grief from not being able to occasionally draw or use powers or play cards.
VIP for me was Setback. Looking Up, High-Risk behavior, and Cause and Effect for the first Apocalypse led to him being very helpful.
In my games (tablet & PC), I never saw Apocalypse come out. I also only saw 3 relics each game: Condemnation, the Tome, and a Gauntlet. Apostate just rolled over & died really quickly. I used Uh, I'm That Guy to copy Inspiring Presence, giving everyone a total of +3 to damage per attack before personal boosts.
tome was easy to off with presence + giant skyscraper (monolith does that) on the second hero turn
first apocalypse was eaten by skyscraper, the second came when i couldn't off it. still stabilized anyway and took a reasonably easy mint.
i never let apostate flip in games anyway, it's so much easier to deal with him on the front side. this set of heroes had some irrreducible damage (+ high damage) so apostate was never going to lock you out and force the flip
The "Legacy-buffed" and "irreducible" parts I get, but where does the "un-redirectable" part come from?
If Guise has X-Tremeeeee!!! out his damage is irreducible and can't be redirected.
