I was giving the new heroes a test drive (iOS version), and had all four of them (KNYFE, Naturalist, Sentinels, Parse) playing against Omnitron in the Wagner Mars Base. Naturalist was in his Gazelle form, so I played Hyperactive Senses, the text of which states:
"Reveal the top 2 cards of any 2 decks, Put them back on top of their decks in any order. [And if in Gazelle Form]: You may discard the top card of any 2 decks."
The game first gave me the option to select a deck from which to reveal cards (I selected Parse), then another deck from which to reveal cards (I selected the environment). The game revealed the top two cards on each deck, then allowed me to rearrange them, per the card text.
Here's where the bug/possible rules interpretation comes into play. Reading the card, it says "[And if in Gazelle Form]: You may discard the top card of any 2 decks." Going with the traditional interpretation of cards that say "may," I took that to mean that I could discard the top card of (a) two different decks, (b) only one deck, or (c) no decks at all.
I went with choice (b) -- I wanted to discard the top card of the environment deck, but no others. However, once I had discarded the top deck of the environment deck, the game forced me to discard another top card; it didn't give me an option to skip the second. Not only that, but it made me discard a card from a different deck, even though the card does not say "....discard the top card of any 2 *DIFFERENT* decks," or "discard the top card from one deck, then another deck."
Is this a bug, or a rules interpretation? Is the "Gazelle Form" choice on the card an either/or -- either you discard two cards or none at all? If so, is that on purpose, or is it something that maybe/could/should be tweaked in a future edit?
