This morning, Google Play notified me that Sentinels had an update. After installing, Vengeance was available to download!
Not sure how available it is on the other environments yet, since variants aren’t available for the new heroes…but it looks like “soon” is sooner than we all thought!

Waiting on Apple, but this thread put a smile on my face as it's going to make being uncomfortably trapped with family over the holiday break MUCH better.

It's been published on all stores, but sometimes the tubes take a bit of time.

I know. My outrage was not entirely genuine. But i am so glad it's out soon!
Can't wait to actually try it!
Thanks to you all!

Holy cow, I've been playing Shinobi Assassins wrong this whole time. Reading the change notes, it says you still get your normal draw when a ninja is on top. I realize this is how the video game played out too, but I believe this was interpreted as such in the games with my group. Good to know!

I have to say, I was surprised by the change to the Shinobi. I’ve always played that it blocked the draw/reveal.

Where are the release notes for the changes? On the Apple Store it just says "Bug Fixes".

From the KS update:
>
In addition to Vengeance and the new Variants, version 2.3 of Sentinels of the Multiverse also has several improvements and bug fixes:
Every environment in the game and expansion packs has 5 new background images to support Vengeance and provide more variety. On mobile, make sure to re-download your Season 1 expansions to see the new images.
Any time a card is played out of turn, you now first see the back of the card so you know what deck it belongs to.
Prime Wardens Captain Cosmic’s innate power can no longer be “stacked.” You may only draw or play a card if you shuffle the destroyed construct into your deck.
The behavior of Shinobi Assassin has been changed so it no longer cancels the draw/reveal/discard/etc that causes it to enter play from the top of a hero deck. For example, if you draw a card and Shinobi Assassin is on top of your deck, first the Assassin comes into play and then you get a card.
Fixed a problem where Weekly One-Shot covers could not be awarded properly when playing in multiplayer. Fixed an issue in multiplayer where games could get stuck if the Team Leader disconnected.
Older iOS devices running on iOS 10 should now be able to hear the music again.

Woo.
I was up early and was checking my Steam downloads and saw Vengeance added right then. Good times.

Of course, I'm at work now and I really don't want my first playthrough of V-Style to be on my phone. It's a trial, but I'm going to be patient and wait until I get home so I can play it full-screen.

It still plays well on a phone that's primarily what I use to play it on as a beta tester

So the reason i didn't see those update notes was that my phone wasn't showing the right update info. It just showed "Bug Fixes" and not the long list when a new expansion/content is released. After two failed updates, a restart of my phone, and another two attempts at an update I still saw "Bug Fixes" in the notes. Now, I finally see the long list of major changes listed above.
I put full blame on apple.
Things are looking good now!

YES to the Captain Cosmic fix. Since I was the first person to notice/point out this exploit way back when the card was first previewed, before WotC came out, I’d like to move to call this fix “The McBehrer Clause.” (Get it? Like Bear Claws?)

Did not expect this today. And for once the update didn't happen when I have no wifi for several days

Of course this comes out while I'm stuck at work. Thpublic Wi-Fi blocks Amazon and my mobile data reception is spotty at best in this building. Its torture waiting for this to download. Absolute torture.
Great job on getting this out before Christmas. Super excited to get to play this over the Christmas break. Like many, I rarely get to play Vengenance style games because of the setup and bookkeeping involved.

You didn't see this thread https://greaterthangames.com/forum/topic/prime-warden-captain-cosmics-nigh-infinite-or-limitless-loop-9454 or this one on Steam http://steamcommunity.com/app/337150/discussions/0/208684375414645404/
While I understood the original ruling the updated ruling puts this where I think it was originally supposed to be.

Yes. I used it it one-shot Advanced-Challenge mode Skinwalker Gloomy/Spite, before it got patched the first time.

Specifically, we killed Spite, then One-shot Gloomy. I played it when he was at 50, flipped him while it was building up with some occasional Potent Disruptions, and then hit him for Arbitrarily Large Amount of damage once he flipped.
That also won me the “how much damage can you do in one blow” contest, forever; it can do any amount, as long as you are patient enough.
