I watched this last night.
The Bad
Work on Prime War has not begun and it doesn't look like it will be released in 2017. That will make it 3 years and counting from purchase to delivery. I'm disappointed and considering going for the refund. I know they want to get it right but I'm starting to lose faith that the next expansion for Sentinels Tactics will get done.
Freedom Tower. I need to preface this with this: the music for this environment is perfectly fine. I was just personally hoping for some excitement in it to bring to mind Entry Point, the villains bursting in and all hell breaking loss.
Getting our hands on this before Christmas is in jeapordy given what I saw of the UI for mobile on display and the general bugs they were experiencing. I've got faith in them to get it done, but I am a bit nervous now.
The Good
The insanity which is the combined villains victory music. I really got a kick out of that.
THE HUNTED NATURALIST!! Yes, I'm a bit excited about this variant.
They are releasing 3 (6?) variants with Vengeance. The Hunted Naturalist, KNYFE: Rogue Agent, and Adamant Sentinels.
Proletariats theme. I loved this. They might wanna consider redoing it with actual Russian though in order to avoid being unintentionally offensive like La Capitans name.
i personally liked it. I'm not sure I would call it bad and remember Jean Marc has to get sif off from GtG on this before the music is set so they didn't feel the Entry Point piece was essential.

I'm a beta tester and mostly play it off my phone. The mobile UI is great and isn't by any means a hold up for releasing. What they said on the stream indicated it was more to do with getting the iOS version through Apple's review process.
I haven't seen the stream, but this seems like it's a mistake. I mean, I've seen Prime War things in the Playtester Forums. A bunch of work has been done. No comment about the timing of a release, mind you.

As others have said, he didn't say that there is nothing on Prime War; it's more that it's not the top focus (as also indicated in Paul's December status update), and Christopher doesn't want to give a firm date until he feels it's closer to being ready.
I think the confusion of not starting came from Adam's comment that "we want to start working on it as soon as we're able to"
Christopher and Adam are not the only GTG employees.
That's what I was referring to yes. Adam may have mispoke, it happens. I heard that and my heart sank because I've been waiting for the next tactics for so long.
If work on Prime War hasn't begun yet, I'm confused about what I've been doing for the last few months! ;)
And GTG employees aren't the only ones working on GTG projects.
I remember, from a previous stream, that Parse also had the Variant banner across her card. However, it was not present during this last stream. I wonder if Parse's variant will be part of the release as well and it just wasn't visible during this previous stream.
All of the variants that will be released with Vengeance were previewed on Tuesday: K.N.Y.F.E. Rogue Agent, The Hunted Naturalist, and The Adamant Sentinels. Just because you saw a graphic on a development build doesn't mean it's an announcement.
