The Ennead versus Redeemer Fanatic, Eternal Haka, DW Nightmist, Beardy Ra, and Scholar of the Infinite in the Ruins of Atlantis.  Good luck and try to unleash the Kraken on your foes not friends.

Ouch! That got way closer than it had any right to be. It looked like I was cruising towards an easy win with everyone still standing when the Ennead suddenly unleashed Hell (or rather, Duat, I suppose) on me. I still got the Mint in the end, but only Fanatic (who got saved by her Aegis) and Haka (with 4 HP left) were still standing at the end. A good reminder never to count out the Ennead completely, and a personal reminder of just why I -hate- Ruins of Atlantis as an environment so very, very much!

Mint. Wasn’t really bad at all for me. No incaps though NightMist was on 1 HP before the Atlantean Font of Power played Mist-Fueled recovery for her right before it played a one-shot from Ra to end the game. I went after Nuit and Atum first so my game may be very different then someone who didn’t.

Finally broke my non-Mint streak. :D I was beginning to think I was bad at this game!

This was an easy Ennead fight, as far as I can tell. I also had Nightmist down to 1 (I was pretty bad about playing defense with this team), but never saw the Font. I was, however, able to do exactly enough damage to take Geb down in the end, thanks to Drawn to the Flame, of all things.

Mint. Thanks to [SPOILERS]

It was a close one, but lots of fun.

Ugh, lost my first game due to 3 turns in a row of Leaking Room, with the Ennead playing Elemental Storm on two of them.

Nice to get mint again!  This was pretty easy, but took a while.  First concentrated on Nuit, and then picked off the most dangerous ones as they came out. Fanatic was the only one with life less than 16, and she hadn't used her Aegis yet.

Near Mint this one ,accidental Eod play by the Scholar meant I had nothing to fight with and was defeated, the replay was still not very good with Ra incapped but victory was mine

Mint.

Didn't have too much trouble--I wonder if my taking out Nuit early and reshuffling of the environment deck made things different. I didn't see a Kraken (despite the description of the game).

Early mist bound helped, and Scholar had Flesh to Iron out early and ended at nearly full HP.

won when the Font of Power played super awesome cards for me, while the Ennead were Ground Pounded. All heroes in mid HP, except Scholar who was near full, and Nightmist in single digits.

I also didn't see the Kraken, which was somewhat disappointing given that I was always prepared for it (an Ennead or Nightmist with her amulet were always lowest).

Ra got incapped early as I accidentally misclicked him when unexpected choices appeared.  The other heroes were fine, though, with The Scholar in his 20s and everyone else in the teens.

I saw the Kraken but he was destroyed quickly due to Ennead incap abilities.   It mostly would depend upon when you take out Nuit as she would cause the environment deck to shuffle repeatedly.

Mint.  Although technically not random, these games will be pretty divergent because of the Ennead shuffle incaps.  I lost Ra, but everyone else did okay.  I nearly won before Set came out, but fortunately I had a Wrathful Retribution ready to deal with him when he did.

Just want to remark that Font of Power is a decidedly LESS fun card when the first card it causes to be played is The Desert's Wrath. Booh to that! :(

Mint. Barely.

I was setup & in good shape when Don't Dismiss Anything pulled End of Days & wiped my ongoings and equipment. The Ennead took advantage of that & started cleaning up my heroes. NightMist fell first, followed quickly by Ra and Fanatic. Haka held out for a while but could not stand versus the onslaught from the Ennead. Finally, the Scholar stood alone versus 5 of the Ennead, gravely wounded, and bolstered only by the memory of his fallen comrades.

And he kept standing there, getting healing & card draws from his fallen allies. The Ennead's incap effects kept his deck cycling so that he had Flesh to Iron always up, 1 to 3 Mortal Flesh to Energy most turns, and a Solid to Liquid up about half the time. The various incap heal effects kept damage going on the Ennead, barely outstripping their combined heals for a while, but eventually gaining enough momentum to take them out one by one. And in accordance with the intro for this one-shot, a Kraken got the final blow in, finishing Gen and the Ennead.

It was a long, slow war of attrition, and took about an hour to complete. It's the first time in a long while I've had all 9 of the Ennead come out without playing on advanced. Rough one, but a fun game nonetheless.

Very quick and easy Mint here.  Never saw Set or Geb, and there were only 5 cards in the Ennead trash at endgame.

Fanatic (12 HP) - Absolution first for damage, then Divine Focus got played off-turn by Atlantean Font of Power while she still had Prayer of Desperation in her hand.  So, I burned almost all my cards, played Prayer, and burned some more. Good solid match.

Haka (15 HP) - Taiaha and dumped his hand for Toxic Seaweed. Dominion got played off-turn by Atlantean Font of Power, which helped fuel one final hit with Haka of Battle.

Nightmist (9 HP) - Stunlocked Ennead for a couple rounds with Mistbound, including the round with the aforementioned Atlantean Font of Power to no Villain effect.

Ra (17 HP) - Got out the staff and blew it up, got another Staff, played and consistently used Drawn to the Flame, and Living Conflagration got played off-turn. Omnomnom damage.

Scholar (30 HP) - Truth seeker every round, Flesh to Iron stayed out the whole game, and used Get Out of the Way and Grace Under Fire each once to great effect.

Atlantis: KO'd Tox Seaweed as soon as I saw it. Mystical Defenses helped more than it hurt, as did Hallway Collapse and Font of Power. Never saw Phosphorescent Chamber, Kraken, or Leaking Room.

Mint.

It quickly turned into The Scholar vs The Ennead, and they didn't have a chance. A flesh to iron and two mortal forms of energy kept The Scholar rolling and The Ennead were taken out one at a time. The Scholar ended at 26Hp.

i must learn to play Fanatic sometime, as unless I've got her sword out I can't get her rolling.

Tough, long Near Mint. The second time i used Ra’s incap to keep them spamming Blasts of Flame, so they didn’t really do anything. Then it was easy.

Note that this (very effective) strategy only works if you leave Atum for last, as his Incapacitated power makes any attempt to stack the Ennead's deck entirely pointless.

Near mint and an easier time the second time around. Took out Nuit first, then focused on Atum, to take out the second card play that he can trigger. Saved Shu for a later hit to prevent the extra environment draws.
Didn’t bother with Flesh of the Sun God this time.

With the extra shuffles, the Random Number God was kinder to me this time as I did not get hit with multiple Leaking Rooms or Ancient Magics.

Couple of fun plays- rigged Nightmist to fire an Oblivion with a 4/2 combo while my team was protected by Scholar’s Alchemical Redirection and Flesh to Iron.
Don’t Dismiss Anything played Solar Flare out of turn, allowing Ra to pump 8 damage into each surviving Ennead member to end the game. (Scorched Earth and Drawn to the Flame, Staff of Ra in play.)

Ennead is usually a fun romp that's challenging but not enough to represent imminent doom and this was no different.

Due to the variance of Nuit shuffling the environment deck (obviously we killed her first) my results aren't that replicable but on turn 4 the game swung decisively when I got a Phosphorescent Chamber.  Ennead zaps us for 6 or whatever and then I unload on them with buffed damage and Nightmist uses Mistbound to prevent them from retalitating next turn.  End of turn 5, we get ANOTHER Phosphorescent Chamber so I'm at +2 damage.  Ennead does nothing, Haka Rampages, Misty Oblivions, Scholar spits Proverbs for another round of damage powers and the Kraken finishes the lone surviving Ennead off.

I hate the Pillars of Hercules.

That is all.

Still got Mint, thanks to obscene amounts of healing by Scholar and Haka (and a last-second Retribution from Fanatic before she went down). Managed enough card draw with the latter to sustain five Forms for a couple turns -- combined with the Phosphorescent Chamber and Redeemer Fanatic's incap ability, he clobbered most of the Ennead single-handedly. The highlight and big turnaround of the game was the turn I managed to get all four Keep Movings in Hand and two "Get Out Of The Way!"s just as the deck reshuffled, putting nearly all my forms back into the deck.

If it wasn't for an ill-timed Alchemical Redirection (and my decision to get rid of Flesh to Iron), he would've finished them off, but it dropped him and left Haka to do the clean-up. He mostly did this by healing up and occasionally hitting people, but he managed to end up on top with the Mystical Defenses and Kraken finishing off Tefnut thanks to Set putting the former into play. I'm just glad I decided to KO Shu before the Scholar went down.
