I want to be the very best with Captain Cosmic, Unity, Legacy, and Haka like no ever was against Voss.  To catch them is my real task in the Final Wasteland.

I presume this was to make up for last week.  Everyone has exactly the right cards to deal with Voss.

Finished in Round 5 (Haka's turn) everyone at least 26 HP.

I'm sure it could be done quicker.

I always love soundly trouncing villains, so still fun!

Edit: Whoops lost track of the weeks. I meant this was a makeup for Ridiculous Challenge Time

Haka indeed caught them all.  Very easy, but fun Mint.

Soooooo…

Not sure if I did this one “correctly” as it was my longest game ever.

BUT!

I decided to take the game’s name to heart and I had fun doing it.

Ended with all 4 heroes having their entire decks in their hands except for what they had in play and full HP. Haka Savage Mana’d every single target in both Voss’s and the Wasteland’s decks. Ended up splatting Voss with 34 Savage Mana and 33 Haka of Battle for 104 toxic damage.

Things I learned:

  1. If you eat all of the environment, Ancient Library is free card draw and Con’s Bunker is free health

  2. If Legacy has his Ring, Fortitude, Motivational Charge, Superhuman Durability, Surge of Strength, and Inspiring Presence all out, with 1 other damage reduction (such as Energy Bracer), he can punch himself in the face for 2+1 Galvanize +1 Ins Pres +1 SoS =5 -3 SD -1 Fort -1 EB = 0 damage and heal everyone!

  3. If Haka has Dynamic Siphon and it is the lowest hero target, Voss’s Flipped side will hit it before his minon goes, and Haka can eat it

  4. You actually have to try really hard to NOT kill the boss if you want to cycle through his entire deck. No Unity Bots allowed (see below)

  5. I realized after the game that I could have had Haka eat the bots for even more damage. I may have to try this again sometime and feed him the bots as well

  6. Haka will need a Cosmic Weapon to eat the ships. The above is a good way to get Cosmitron if you haven’t already.

You could also catch Constructs…

There are a grand total of 80 targets for Haka to eat in this game, if I did my math right.

Mint, but I was sad I didn't get to finish Voss with Savage Mana. :( Too many bots.

I was only able to scrounge up 71 non-character targets.

If you can get Haka's deck in your hand with 2 Dominions in play, you can perma-play ground pound.

I tipically go for achievements with Haka Visionary and Tempest, where I keep the vilain at full health until I'm ready for whatever condition I need.  Haka eats everything and ground pounds.  Visionary helps Haka get the cards and suggests the villain what to do and Tempest heals while keeping important cards in hand with reclaim from the deep until all cards are in hand.

MInt, Got them all, Haka of Battle ending. 176 and redrew 24 cards.

71 is the correct number: 22 villain targets, 12 environment targets, 23 constructs and 14 bots.

I think theoretical max damage is 182?

142 savage mana + 1 Galvanize +1 Inspiring Presence + 38 Haka of battle (only have Savage Mana in play, although painfully more slow to get to this point without Taiaha)

Edit: 184! (let Haka skip his power, then +2 Hasty Augmentation from Unity)

With Haka of Battle, there is no "max damage", since you can keep playing it and saving it for one attack.

Unity can destroy Taiaha with her base power.

Minty romp through the Wasteland. All heroes near full HP at end.

Mint, but 1 shy of catching them all. Damn you Unforgiving Wasteland!!! Finished with a 193 Haka of Battle enfused burst of Savage Mana goodness. I would have built it up further, but it was late and the wife was glaring.

On a side note, waiting for the 70 cards under Savage Mana to load so I could choose which one I wanted to destroy first was about 8 minutes of pure joy I'll never get back. I heard the update will have some optimizations. I'll have to give it another shot to see.

I just re-tried this one-shot with the latest update on my phone and I gotta say, HUGE improvement in performance. I actually willing threw Augmented Ally on Haka to get the extra power use. Before the update I destroyed that bad boy the first chance I got because it took forever to open up his hand to select a card to discard once he had all of his cards.

This time around I got all 71 targets, and finished him off with Savage Mana only taking a few seconds to bring up the 71 cards underneath it to choose which to destroy first. Great job on the performance enhancements.
