A friend was playing Kismet in Insala Primalis. The Volcano came out, and they let it go off. When the game got to the Talisman, it did the damage and flipped it.

Then treated it like a new target: It did the damage and flipped it.

You see where this is going, right?

The game was stuck in an infinite loop. They had no way to get out of it, and it wasn't going to end on its own. :open_mouth:

So yeah, I'd wouldn't recommend encountering Kismet on Insala Primalis. Apparently she can shatter timelines all by herself, there…

(I honestly think the game should treat the Talisman flipped as the same target that has just recovered the 7hp to avoid this, but not sure if that's how it is intended.)

Yep it shouldn't be treated as a new target.  Though rather interesting.

Maybe the volcano really hates playing Talisman?

Interesting, it doesn't treat it as a new target for other things that damage "all targets.".

EDIT: There must be more to it than "Simply having the volcano and the Talisman in play" as I just checked that on the released build and it does not target it more than once with Volcanic Erruption.

This is a bug and we're looking into it, thanks!

This is exactly why I hate playing Captain Cosmic: You take 4 damage that destroys a Construct, burn a Sustained Influence to put it back into play, and it just takes 4 damage again.
