You have the best collection of heroes in Guise, Absolute Zero, Beardy Ra, and GI Bunker against Advanced Citizen Dawn in Omnitron IV. This can be done without flipping Dawn and still winnable if you do but it won't be pretty. Just make you sure you don't make Guise look bad.

It's true, I did not flip Dawn on my second attempt. :)

I'm going to end up with a Fine when I get around to finishing this. First attempt went horribly. Second attempt went super good, got Dawn to 2 HP, then she flipped, killed Bunker and Zero, and the game crashed when I tried to quit out.

Usual effing Dawn. I read the game intro and spotted Guise's warning about the Aurora (Thanks, G!), so made my initial card choices with that in mind. The game was rough going for a while, but then things settled down. I had flipped Dawn and was about to get her to flip back with mostly harmless Citizens in play and D at about 1/3 of her HP, but then a combo of a 2nd Aurora and two Return from the Graves wiped out my plans and had Citizens mowing down my heroes. Ah well, I'll try again later for Near Mint.

A few suggestion I'm going to put in white text incase you want to avoid spoilers
Play Gimmicky Character on the turn after Dawn plays Citizen Autumn to avoid Devastating Aurora. I would also ignore dealing damage to Dawn the first round since she is going to play Healing Light. Leave Citizen Battery alone. I'd also suggest using Adhesive Foam Grenade the first round

I wad doing OK until the Devastating Aurora Guise warned us about, and then I couldn't get my feet under me.
I got her down to about 30. Environment killed a citizen and flipped her. Zero Died.
I got some set up while trying to speed her flipping. Aurora.
She finally flipped back, and brought me from three heroes between 12 & 20 hp to 2 heros with 1 & 2 hp.
Cue ragequit.
Maybe my next attempt will work out better.

Well, contrary to the other posts, I got a Mint and it wasn't really a dangerous game for me. I dealt more than half of her HP damage in the final round, partly thanks to the combination of Guise the Barbarian, Blatant Reference, and Super-Ultra Kawaii!!, partly thanks to my other heroes being well setup.

You could've won with Wrathful Gaze if you still had it.

She had a Luminous Leadership out, so she healed to 3 on her turn.

So far only played once. Was doing really well and would have won the next round. Then the environment turned on me. It wiped Dawn’s citizens causing her to flip and then took out citizens each time I managed to get 5 into play. Bunker was attempting a last stand but the second Aurora put a stop to that.

Mint.
Lost Absolute Zero to the drones in the environment, but I just kept playing as many Guise cards as possible and it turned out ok.
Like LewdDolphin, I had Barbarian, Reference and Kawaii! out in the last round and took Dawn down from about 30 HP to 0 by the end of Ra's turn.

Mint! The only non-Dawn Citizen I actively targeted was Citizen Tears. Otherwise, Do All The Damage Right Now to Dawn (and ignoring everyone else) works well.
I normally love Subzero Atmosphere vs Dawn, but couldn't with Autumn out (and me not targetting her) and with AZ always lowest HP (because he was doing all the damage with Thermodynamics and FrostBound Drain.).
Finished after Citizen Blood came out I think (did not see Return with Dawn or 2nd Devastating Aurora).

Mint. Played around the Devesating Aurora. Took out Tears, Summer, and later Dare, left the others. Pulled off a Blatant Reference + UYITG copying Ra's Imbued Fire and Solar Flare. Lost AZ on the last round, but he got a few good licks in while on a double Imbued Fire. Never flipped Dawn.

Finally won this one after many attempts (my most tries yet for any of the weekly one-shots), and I only just won with a 2hp Guise being the last hero standing.
I'd say that I should read through everyone else tips on how to play that one better, but I'm so sick of it now that I don't want to see it again.

Well, consider this the first one I've given up on.
Screw Dawn, screw all her forced discards and screw Omnitron-IV throwing all her Citizens in the trash.
Normally the One-Shots make me appreciate characters I wouldn't use often, but in this one, I really would have preferred to just let Ra do damage, and G.I. Bunker's base power was useless.

On a better note, I've managed a victory by Absolute Zero's fourth turn, with more than half the damage coming from Guise and Absolute Zero in their ultimate turns, so that was fun.

Finally got around to playing this last night with a relatively straight forward Mint. Took out Tears on the first turn, as my mantra is see Tears kill Tears. Guise luckily discarded Devastating Aurora and everyone just concentrated their fire on Dawn. I left Omnitron IV alone, as it spent most of the time hitting the citizens. Ended up with Ra scorching the earth to clear the villains.
