Guise Shenanigans in the Video Game

This is a list of shenanigans Guise does in the video game we've seen.  I'll try to keep this list updated.   I'm also not sure how specific this needs to be for MigrantP to say they've all been found

• After playing Blantant Reference Guise says "That is one tasty burger"
• After playing Guise the Barbarian Guise imitates Arnold Schwarzenegger screaming
• When hitting a target with Say Cheese there is camera flash
• The bar for one-shot extends past the card box when expanded for Look What I Found!
• Guise mimics Argent Adept's perform sound affect when using I Can Do That Too! on Argent Adept
• Image for Guise shows him looking at his watch during villain turns
• Image for Guise at the start of the hero turns changes every round
• On his turn Guise will have dialogue in a speech bubble
• One of those shows Guise holding Raptor Bot plushie pointed at it at the villain with a speech bubble saying "Rawr.  Rawr."
• In a different one Guise is pointing down to the cards in your hand and in a speech bubble it says "That one.  Play it! Play it now."
• When Guise is incapped he asks the player to avenge him
• Special Music plays if you use the third incap power and a special dialogue box comes up about dancing
• Occassionally Guise has dialogue when hitting a villain target
• When selecting Guise from the new game menu he will sometimes have dialogue
• When Guise gets knocked below 10 hp, he holds up a sign that says "This means war!"
• When Guise is below 10 hp he will show up with a torn cape and with a Legacy symbol on his chest.
• When Guise is below 10 hp sometimes he will show up with a hole in his chest and in a speech bubble says "I feel like I'm missing something"
• When Guise is below 10 hp sometimes he will show up with arrows and posts stuck in his back.  He will comment on his turn about how much it hurts 
• When Guise is below 10 hp he will be in grayscale and looks similar to Marv in Sin City
• When Guise is below 10 hp on his turn he will threaten the player to heal him or it will be minus 50 sentinel points
• When Lemme See That... is destroyed Guise makes sounds for playing Air Guitar
• Melee sound effect will be different sometimes when hitting a target using Look What I Found
• When Guise takes and uses Argent Adept's instruments for his power he will mimic the sounds of the instrument
• When Santa Guise uses It's GiftMas Time each placed placed face down has a jingle bells sound effect and also shows the back of the card going down the screen
• Santa Guise has altered images and speech bubbles from regular Guise
• One image of Santa Guise has him holding a plush Mr Chomps while saying "I've got a gift for you little guy, tasty bad guys!"
• If you choose Yes for the question after drawing for Where Did I Leave That.... you get a text box and sound effect saying "Good!"   There are some variations on how Good is said in the sound effect 
• When playing Uh, Yeah, I'm That Guy a screen comes up showing Guise's hand and images of the heroes.  You can click or move the hand over the hero you want copy Ongoings of
• When Best Card Ever! is at the text to yell Woo! an image of the card and Guise's arm show up.   If you pull the arms up he says "Wooo!" and if you don't he says "Ahhhh" in a disappointed voice.  
• If you use Tough Choices and either have to draw or have to play a card special text box comes up.  For only being able to draw it says "Guise cannot play cards, so he's gotta draw one. Woo! Free card!"
• If you use I Can Do That Too! or powers through Uh,Yeah, I'm That Guy without being able to do all the text of the power a special text box tells you that aren't making the most of your opportunities
• Most of the time upon game end win or lose Guise will show up with the current art he has but there are occasions you just see a brick wall instead
• If you increase the volume of effects while playing a game with Guise he says "Yaaaaay!", and if you decrease the volume, he goes "nooooo!"
• Sometimes Guise will say something when playing Total Beefcake
• Sometimes when playing Selling Out Guise will say "Revo-cola.  Experimentally refreshing!"
• Sometimes when playing Gritty Reboot Guisewill say "Everyone I know... is dead..."
• When Santa Guise is incapped, he says "Jingle bells, I smell."
• If Guise uses I Can Do That Too on Mr Fixer he says, "I'm gonna sweep so many legs!"

I like that Daffy Duck reference.  

When he gets lower (below 5 maybe?) he looks similar to his picture on Gritty Reboot (grey with bandages).

I think I heard an "air guitar" sound when Lemme See That is destroyed at the start of his turn.

The greyscale under-10-HP is a reference to Marv in Sin City. The bandages over his face and eye are in the same place and everything.


Also I was wondering what that sign said, the one time I got him under 10 HP was a three-hero game and the portrait was too narrow.

The melee sound effect sounded a little different when I played Look What I Found one time.  I don't think it happens every time so hard to confirm.

I heard Guise mimic AA's Lyra sound (vocally) when he played Lemme See That... on the Lyra (just like on the card!)

When Santa Guise uses It’s GiftMas Time, each card placed face down has a jingle bells sound effect. When flipping them, there is the sound of wrapping paper tearing and children yelling “Yay!”

Also, Santa Guise has altered images and speech bubbles from regular Guise. Personally, I love the one where he’s holding Mr. Chomps and says “I’ve got a gift for you little guy, tasty bad guys!” or something like that.

If you select Yes for Where Did I Leave That… he says [Good!] in both a sound effect and a text box.

Don’t forget the yelling Woohoo! when throwing your hands up in the air, and the [Guise gives XXXXHero a high 5!]

Edit: correct speach bubble for the Mr. Chomps is “I got you a present, lil’ fella! Delicious bad guys!”

If you use "I Can Do That Too..." On Dark Watch Fixer with nothing in play to destroy the game says you're not making the most of your opportunities, or something like that, I'll see if I can recreate it...

Also if you try to look at what cards in your deck with Face Down Santa Guise cards in play the game shames you for trying to look at your presents.

Correction: It says "There are no ongoing or equipment cards for Dark Watch Mr. Fixer to destroy. What a Waste!"

If you cannot play cards and use Tough Choices a text box pops up which says: "Guise cannot play cards, so he's gotta draw one. Woo! Free card!"

On your turn, guise is holding Raptor Bot, pointing it at the villina, and saying "Rawr.  Rawr."

Nearly fell off my chair.

Also: Guise isn't in his portrait on the Victory screen (and maybe on the defeat screen, I've won both games I've played with him so far).  His portrait is a brick wall.

I've seen a brick wall, one where he has a hole in his chest and is pointing to it…I think he has several.

Just out of curiosity since I have seen oddities on edited post does everyone see this as the last bulleted point currently?

That's a bug actually. If you have a clue about what might lead up to that, let us know =)

I thought it was intentional to be honest.  I was thinking the idea was that he left for some reason 

I wondered why it wasn't broken, as in breaking the 4th wall. But that makes sense.

I played Gritty Reboot once and got "Everyone I know... is dead..."

Don't forget the threat of a 50 Sentinel Points minus if he's not healed after getting below 10 HP! (It's a reference to classic Flash animation Onyxia Wipe!)

I rewound, and Guise went "n-n-n-no, wait!  I wasn't finished!"

Look What I Found doesn't just change the sound effect a little, it changes the accompanying text from "thokk" to "thwack".

When he plays Total Beefcake, he sometimes delivers the line "Don't hate me 'cause I'm beautiful."

Also, Guise's air guitar solos apparently get recorded in the game's log file (Guise plays air guitar! DIIII -didli- DIIII -didli- DI DI DI DIIIIIII!!!), as a nice little easter egg for people digging around hunting unlock conditions to find.

I know this isn't technically video game specific, but since we're all here talking about Guise.....can anyone make out what's on his chest in Gritty Reboot?

Gritty Reboot looks like a rose.   Gimmicky Character looks like it might be a lifesaver.

This is the second time an update to this thread sent me to the second post. If you are trying to update the second post, I don’t see any changes. If not, I am getting the “update but no new update” bug.

Phrases I have heard when selecting Guise (either version) are

1. You have chosen... wisely
2. Hi!
3. Let's do this

When dealing damage with his base power Guise just said "Punch!", which was odd because he was dealing Fire damage thanks to Imbued Fire!

That is exactly what I did.   This is getting aggravating.  

So perhaps until this forum mess is sorted we could have a link to a ... google doc that you could edit with everything in it? Then you wouldn't need to eidt the post, you could just add a new post every time.

Huh, totally thought that was intentional. 

Both times I saw it, they were both wins, but nothing special.  Guise was well over 10 hp in both, and no one was incapped.

That's probably what I'm going to do in the meantime.

On his turn, had Guise come up, left arm raised over his head in a fist, saying "Let's fight us some bad guys!" and a symbol that looks like Legacy flying with one fist in front of him on Guise's chest.

Just chatted with Christopher, and he said Gimmicky Character is a record (a reference to the opening sequence of Happy Days, where the literal shark jump first occurred).

Just curious - is this Legacy specific?  I heard this once as well when I imitated Legacy.  Haven't heard it on others yet.

Matchstickman sorted out the sheet between card plays, art, and misc thanks for that.  There is still the main list as well.   I've updated it with other items listed recently and some I've found.

When played "Say Cheese" on Wager Master : "How's this grab ya: 'Wager Master Loses Hit Points! Sounds great, let's shoot a pilot!"

The bar above the target selection screen while using the damage portion of his power (what's it usually say, Select a Target or something?) often says "But Who?" I've also seen "Eenie Meenie Minie Moe..." just today.

When Santa Guise is unlocked, christmas bells are ringing in the background during the "Unlocked a new variant!" gituar riff.

I can confirm it is not Legacy specific, I received this when Legacy wasn’t even in the party.

Also 2 additional Santa Guise quote bubbles on his turn:

The Santa version of the low hp “Marv” homage says “Someone’s getting coal this year.”

There’s one with his hands in the shape of handguns and the bubble says “Better be careful! I’m gonna put someone’s eye out!”

I'm not 100% certain about this because I had music running in the background, but I heard something like "I didn't stack the deck, I swear!" after playing Where Did I Leave That? It could be because he drew two Best Cards Ever (this was in the new one-shot).

Regular Guise's hand-guns bubble is "BUDDA-BUDDA-BUDDA-BUDDA … Am I doing this right?"

There's also a voiceover for Super Ultra Kawaii, but it's spoken quickly and (presumably) in Japanese, so I'm not sure what he's saying.

Any chance you could tell us the Japanese phrase?  If you can't post the English version that's fine but I don't have a good way to slow down the audio nor know Japanese enough to attempt to write down what he says.  

My Japanese happened against Baron Blade (who is pictured on the card) and I think I heard the voice refer to "Baron-San" or something....but I sure couldn't make out the rest.

Also, when playing Look what I found against Wager Master ( I think that was the card I played) Guise said something along the lines of "I'll take bruises for 600, Alex!"

I’ve heard two phrases when dealing damage with his base power. This one sounded to me like “Yes, I’ll take bruises for six hundred please.”

The other was “You’re just… so… damn… punchable.”

When you click on a deck to see what cards are still in it and Santa Guise has already gotten out presents - he has a message for you.

It sounds like he's saying "Baron-kun, keikyo dozo", but I could be wrong - I randomized until I saw him in a game, and it was up against Iron Legacy with Vigilance in play, so I may have been getting mixed up by the projectile damage sound.

I agree.  I just listened, and it sounds like "Baron-kun keikyo doozo".  That said, as someone that speaks japanese, that's pretty much gibberish.  I mean, sure, "doozo" is just sort of general japanese polite thing that can mean anything from please, to thank you, or "with respect", but "keikyo" doesn't mean anything to the best of my (and my Japanese/English dictionary's) knowledge.  I also tried keikiyo, kekyo, and kekiyo, but no results.  Now, "keikyou" means "Business climate", but I have no idea how that makes sense in context.

How about "Baron-kun, keiki o douzo!"

And now for something completely different.

The game is a random one: Omnitron-X, Sky-Scraper, Santa Guise, Dark Watch Expatriette, and Golem Unity against the Ennead in Time Cataclysm.

On the 2nd round Sky played Catch a Ride and chose Guise to deal the damage and Nuit as the target. I fast forwarded through the animation.
She then used Sneaking to play Neutralizing Resonator as it was the only link in hand. She played it next to Nuit, causing the discard of Elemental Storm (green symbol.) This caused Shu, Nephthys, and Isis to want to react and I pushed [Choose for me.]
Shu healed each non-hero for 1, which I fast forwarded through. Nephthys wants to damage all hero targets and I pushed [Choose for me] once again, again holding the fast forward button. Then Isis wants to deal the hero with the most cards in play 2 damage, my options were O-X or Sky and I chose Sky.

Here’s where the shenanigans occured. After I chose the target, as my thumb was going down to speed through the animation, the damage dealing did not happen. The entire screen went black and Santa Guise popped up with a (written, not spoken) monologue starting with “Ho Ho Ho…” but then my thumb finished its descent and the screen went away before I could read anything more. The damage animation then happened as usual.

It was too quick for me to read it or get a screenshot and I’m on Android so no log files. I’ve been rewinding all day trying to get it to come back to no avail. I’ve chosen different targets, different heroes, skipped the Catch a Ride, all sorts of variables. And of course I’ve done my original series of events dozens of times. Sorry folks, but I am unable to reproduce the effect :-/

I’m probably going to give up and continue my game now. If anyone is able to see this screen, I would appreciate it if you could please post a screenshot so I know what I missed.

Without looking at it, it sounds like the monologue he gives if you try to look at a hero deck in order to figure out what cards are face-down in play. Are you sure you didn't hit the button to look at a deck by accident?

He does say that, presumably if the two cards drawn are both Best Card Ever.

I got the stacking the deck one in that same circumstance, 2 best card ever.

I don’t remember if this was called out already or not, but I got a laugh when the news ticker on the splash screen showed that the mega computer screens from the ARG had been retconn’d

This is from before Guise even appears in the game, but his name is graffitied on a wall in Megalopolis. I don't know if that counts.

I’d never seen that screen before, but now that I went and checked that’s exactly what it was.
That makes me wonder where my other fingers were at… I’m not positive!
However, on Guise’s previous turn I had peeked at Unity’s deck while in the middle of playing her facedown cards. Flash Forge had come up and there was only 1 Raptor available and 1 in play so I hit [Meanwhile] and checked the trash, it wasn’t there so I looked at her deck before realizing she still had 1 more facedown card to play. At the time I did not get this screen, but perhaps it was some sort of delayed reaction bug?
I may have hit it on accident as you say, but I’m going to try to reproduce it just in case.

When playing as Santa Guise, sometimes when his turn starts he is dressed in full Santa gear and says something along the lines of "What day is it? There's not too late!"

Anyone tried playing as Santa Guise with the system clock set to 25/12/<some year>?

You're just going to leave us hanging like that? Dang.

If Guise has played Selling Out, but he does not discard at the end of the environment turn, a box pops up saying “Guise did not discard a card so no cards can be played. Not really selling out after all!”

Sometimes after opening his own presents Santa Guise changes the order of his cards in his play area

Playing Look What I Found there was once a sound effect "Oh man the look on your face!

If you doubletap Look What I Found, the effect bubble isn’t always in the same place

When choosing a perform card from borrowing an Adept instrument the [Confirm] box instead says [Vote]

A few more speech bubbles:

1. Christmas is the time to say I’m gonna beat someone up.

2. Low hp? I’m just getting started.

3. Oh…

Noticed yesterday, the play/draw dialogue box for Tough Choices said "What will I do? The suspense is killing me!" (Usually it just says "How to choose?")

I'm not sure if it was anything I did to cause it, or just a random effect, but at the start of Guise's turn in a match against La Capitan in Silver Gulch, Guise changed his picture into him wearing a crown and cape with a giant gold "G" necklace, holding up a scepter imperiously while proclaiming "I have no rival! No man can be my equal!"

Guise had the heighest HP total in play (13 HP with La Capitan at 12, Tachyon at 10, Nightmist at 6 and an Explosives Wagon and Matthew Hayes at 4 both) so that might very well have been the trigger.

Ha! Wow – that's a great Queen reference…

Gah! Sadly, I had my sound turned off as I was playing while watching England vs. Iceland. I guess I'd better do it again, then!

Just got a version of Guise with his chin on his hand, saying "The card you play must be considered… carefully."

When starting a new game with Guise at the helm, I just got a gray screen with a text bubble that says "The villian will say something monstrous ight here.  Perhaps in the next build!"

it's kind of frozen now, though.

That seems more like a bug.  

That would be a bug, please report it in-game via the credits screen.

When I chained three consecutive Retcons (Retcon -> Retcon -> Retcon), Guise said, "Really playing fast and loose with the timestream there, pal."

Nice!   I once got all his Ongoing's in play and thought that would trigger something but it did not =(

There are a few notable easter eggs that are possible to hear/see now, that have not been posted about yet. I'm feeling generous this morning while working on Vengeance, so here are some hints!

1. Both Guise and Santa Guise have special character artwork & audio that only appears under certain conditions. They've each been seen here, but nobody has worked out the conditions.
2. It appears that everyone here is a Sentinels expert and never needs any help.
3. Three words: Giant Enemy Crab
4. Selfies can be mortally dangerous under the right circumstances.

Thanks for the hints?    I'm not fully sure what to make of them especially the second one.

I've tried opening the help while on Guise's turn before and just did so now so I'm wondering what I'm missing in regards to your second hint.

I have an idea what to try next time I'm in a multiplayer game.    The first hint I'm not sure I'll get because I've found that upon rewinding at times I'll eventually get any of them to show up.   I have an idea on the fourth one but the third one I'll have to think about.  

So try it over and over until something different happens.

Yes it is.

I did what you did--but kept doing it. About the fifth or sixth time I pushed the help button, Guise called me a n00b in a bemused/taunting tone.

Gotcha.  I was thinking a multiplayer game.  

I continued further and he eventually said "I need somebody" in a singing voice.  

Another one "I see you are playing a hero can I be of some assistance?"

Tried to have Guise kill himself with a selfie. Did nothing special.

Tried to have someone else kill Guise with his own selfie (Argent Adept). Did nothing special.

I'm thinking he needs to have the damage from Say Cheese! redirected to himself and either incap him or another hero. 

Well having Say Cheese! damage redirected to Guise that Incapped him had no affect.  

Can't try myself (still at work), but has anyone tried clicking on the share button on a game with Guise in it at the end? That takes a screencap.

I have not.   Certainly worth a try.  Just have to hope I don't have a brick wall which seems to be happening again.

Those of you that tested various things, did you try rewinding a few times and doing the same thing again?  A lot of the reactions only happen some of the time...

If it's playing Say Cheese! to defeat the villain then that's hard to rewind since the game immediately ends.  

This likely has nothing to do with Guise, but while messing around on the help screen (I didn't hear any phrases other than the ones Powerhound mentions), I noticed on the "Advanced Play" screen, every instance of the letter P is underlined. Whatever could that mean?

I do not see that on my Advanced Play screen.

Anyone tried using say cheese on Guise in order to play a second card?  Or using it on Guise when he has His Chainmail Bikini on?

This seems like the right place to ask this as well:

Guise plays Selling out.

End of Environment turn discard a one-shot, play 2 other one shots, the third one shot play Retcon, destroy Selling out, play a new Selling Out.

The wording on Selling out has no conditionals, and doesn't seem worded to count backwards, but when I played the second Selling out the game just continued with the end of the Environment turn and then went to the start of the villain turn.

Just wondering if I'm missing something or if this is an error.

I've done that before and had it work so I'm not sure what happened in your case.

Well trying again against Blade having Guise go down due to Backlash Field after playing Say Cheese! did not trigger anything.  

I'm kind of sad. I kept hitting P hoping something would happen.

I think I found #4. I chained 3 Say Cheese together (using himself as the target) and the third one made a different sound effect than the usual camara flash. I could be mistaken, it is 1am and it happened quickly, but I believe it sounded like a gunshot.

There are two camera sound effects that randomly play from Say Cheese, so that would not be it.

Has anyone ever played Say Cheese...while eating cheese??

Peter may be on to something here. Or on something. It's hard to tell sometimes.

I have done that, but pepperoni was involved, and I was playing with the sound off because my son was napping.  So I can't verify anything at all.

Thanks for clearing that up, I’d never noticed the 2nd sound effect before.

Defeated the villain by playing Say Cheese! three times but it didn't have any affect.

Maybe it involves using X-TREME and Barbarian to deal damage to a target, while ignoring both an effect that would redirect the damage away from it, and also a DR effect?

Ok, tried selfie-ing the Dreamer to death. Didn’t work.

Could it involve Death Caller? Use Say Cheese to bring a target below 3, killing them with that?

Hitting Stonejaw Tryragon-Rex while Tarnis was out, under the effects of Barbarian, X-TREME, The Seeker, Blatant Reference, et. al didn’t work.

I couldn’t get a Retcon that game, and using I Can Do That Too to activate Sarabande of Destruction gave Death Caller to Argent Adept (bug?) So i couldn’t test that theory out.

Oh, and another bug: With Idessa the Adroit, I had a situation where she attempted to deal damage, but thanks to Lead from the Front, she only hit Legacy 4 times (and she failed to hit Haka once because of Ta Moko) so she did not hit multiple targets, but she still added her 4 tokens to their pool. Either she’s flat cheating, or this is a bug, because hitting Legacy 4 times for 1 and Haka once for 0 does not constitute “dealing damage to multiple targets this way.”

I wonder if there was any way with a recently released variant to deal massive damage to the enemy's weak point. Perhaps we'll never know!

I can see the help from PW Haka to dealing massive damage but I'm still lost on the weak point part.

Well a thirty point hit by Say Cheese! on Baron Blade by Guise didn't do anything.   Blade has his Living Force Field out and Guise played X-Treeeeeeeeeme!!! before hitting Baron Blade.   He was boosted by a Haka of Battle by PW Haka

Guise doesn't always speak up you know.

So, if people are looking for a Say Cheese play, have you tried doing massive damage to Plague Rat with it? I mean, if there's not a quip that involves hitting a rat with that card, I'd be let down.

The top of your List of Guise Things to Do: Use I Can Do That Too! to use Desperate Prey.

You get the same effects if you Uh, Yeah, I'm That Guy Form cards, but this way is less destructive. Not to mention, way, way funnier. And I won't even say why...

You still need to use it in combination with Uh,Yeah,I'm That Guy! to get any benefit from it.   

You shouldn’t. It doesn’t say "activate your symbols,"it just says “activate any symbols.” So, it should be able to activate Naturalist’s symbols.

Well I can tell you for a fact that is the case.  Also that the ruling was Guise can't activate one-shots played by Naturalist even if he does have any Forms active.

Well the one-shots I agreed with but just activating Ongoing affects I disagreed with since I thought it would be like Argent Adept.

I thought he'd be able to activate icons on say Resilient Hide even though it's not in his play area similar to how he can potentially trigger Perform and Accompany abilities on cards not in his play area.  

I guess it's the difference between "this card is in your play area and therefore affects your hero" and "this card has text which can be activated by your hero's power"?

Jog my memory--I can't remember if I've heard Guise say "Ka-POW" at any point.

He just did for me when Santa Guise hit a 1HP Ennead member with Inspiring Presence and Barbarian in play. He opened his own presents and used I Can Do That Too! to use Young Legacy's Atomic Glare--dealing 6 damage. Then he shouted "Ka-POW!"

Maybe this is something that we've already discovered, and I can't remember hearing it, or maybe this is something new?

It sounds like it to me and I don't see it in the sheet.  

Unless I heard it wrong--I usually have the volume sorta low. I'm pretty sure it was a Ka-POW!

Well, there's the fact that Guise can now summon Naturalist's animal forms as well, but he needs both 'I can do that too' and 'Uh, yeah, I'm that guy' to really get the effects.

He does summon little versions of Naturalist's 'animal spirits' visually as well, but I haven't yet got the actual sounds if any exist. At least I don't think so.

I don’t think there are sounds. Naturalist sounds, I mean. There might be Guise sounds.

Has anyone seen any interactions with The Sentinels? I tried using Lemme See That and Uh Yeah I’m That Guy to have all of their Signature cards in Guise’s control, but didn’t notice anything.

I’m not sure I’ve seen this one mentioned yet, either: If you use “I can do that, too” on (Original) Wraith, the text says, “The next damage to Guise is reduced by 2. So sneaky!”

I don't see this by searching the thread or the google doc, so. I was playing with Santa Guise and building tons of cards. When I zoomed in on Super Ultra Kawaii, there was a popup in the upper right that said, "wow, 11 cards in hand? My power level is over 9000!!". This was a 3H game. I posted the screencap to Twitter, same username.

Without rereading this entire thread, I don’t think this one has been mentioned: selected for Paragon of Sentience, Guise rants “Is that any way to treat your star?!” and then goes on to complain that the lighting doesn’t work for his complexion (a particularly inane comment coming from someone whose “costume” does not appear to show any skin, not even on Total Beefcake).

When using Santa Guise’s first power twice, then playing Uh, Yeah I’m That Guy!, when it’s destroyed, guise transforms and talks about the spirit of giving or something.

Yep, that’s one of his special forms. They’re part of unlocking Completionist Guise.

I can hardly believe it, but I think I might have found a new one of these. I’m not reading the whole 200-post thread on my phone, but I used to reread it pretty regularly, and what happened today didn’t ring a bell. As Kismet was blowing up the whole Celestial Tribunal for a TPK, I triggered a bonus play which threw Paragon of Sentience on Guise, and he said something along the lines of “Places, people, this is a three hour shoot, and these lights are not doing ANYTHING for my complexion!”
