... tomorrow! Yep, 8th June is the release date for Guise, Wager Master and Omnitron IV (so said MigrantP on the Twitch Stream this evening).

I can't wait, can you?

I'm surprised Guise himself hasn't commented about this since I imagine he has been waiting impatiently to be included in the game.

Odd, normally their release time for new content is later in the day.  Oh well I always assume I'll have to wait a day at least for iOS version with Apple's review process.

Don't be so sure of that, Citizen. For this is the mighty, and devilishly handsome, Guise, we are talking about. No mere fruit based company (hmmmm, maybe they're being run by that fiend the Green Grosser. It would fit his style. Never fear, Guise shall investigate) can restrain such awesomeness.

Which is a Guise-y way of saying I just downloaded the expansion from the Apple Store.

Wow you are correct sir.   I always expect the worst timing wise so this is a nice surprise.

Finally, a chance to play Wager Master without losing my mind keeping track of all the conditions.

Oh, man, soooo many Easter Eggs.

Try having Guise steal an Instrument from Argent and use it.

High-fives, air guitar, hands in the air and yelling woo, all implemented. Plus the rotating Guise images in his hero space. And the looking at his watch during the villain turn.

And this is only the obvious stuff. How many of these things did you purt in there?

There are a lot.   My only annoyance so far is Guise the Barbarian doesn't always play it's sound affect.   Try using I Can Do That Too! on Argent Adept.   Occasionally when he does damage he has extra dialogue but I haven't figured out if there is some specific trigger.

I just got a 50 Sentinel points minus and I am not happy about this, except that I absolutely am, because who would have expected that reference? Only you, Guise.

Do we need a separate thread for Guise shenanigans?

Feel so bad for Handelabra.  Toughest decks to program ever with probably triple the development cost for only $1.99 (free for Season Pass 1)?  At least two of them have kids to feed!

The price is great, for those who just want the mini pack.

I would be actually sympathetic if attempting to downlod this part of Season Pass 1 hadn't removed all of season pass 1 from my Android tablet.

Well, looks like I'm not unlocking Omni-U or Santa Guise for a while.

Did anyone notice the "slide to win" thing? I got it with the relic win against Gloomweaver. I'm not sure why it was put in.

A non-clickable thing telling you why you did or did not win, stops those bug reports dead!

Huh. Going to have to  try that, now that I've got everything working again.

Just beat Wager Master in a straight up fight (side note: I hate the condition that makes you lose if he goes to 0)

I went around the condition by just sucker punching him to death.

My first game against Wager Master, with 4 heroes (Guise, Captain Cosmic, Omni-U, Skyscraper) in Omni-IV:

Start of game:

Wageling

Wageling

Wageling

Wageling

Lose the game before doing anything.

What are the odds?  Makes me wonder... easter egg of some sort?

Bachelor of Mathematics reporting for duty! Let's hope I don't screw this up.

At the start of the game, Wager Master puts H condition cards into play. There are 4 copies of Wagelings in a 25 card deck. So if H is 3 or 4, he can win by having H of them on top of the deck when it's initially shuffled.

There's a 4 in 25 chance he plays a Wageling first. P = (4/25) = 16% chance

There's a 3 in 24 chance he also plays a second one. P = (3/24) * (4/25) = 2% chance

There's a 2 in 23 chance he also plays a third one. P = (2/23) * (3/24) * (4/25) ~= 0.1739% chance

There's a 1 in 22 chance he also plays a fourth one. P = (1/22) * (2/23) * (3/24) * (4/25) ~= 0.007905% chance

So the odds are 1 in 575 for H=3, and 1 in 12,650 for H=4.

edit: Oh, I did screw it up, it's more complicated than that. "Cards are revealed from the top of the villain deck until H condition cards are revealed and put into play." That's more math, I'll make another post.

Due to what actually happens, we don't care about the non-condition cards. This makes the odds of it happening a lot higher!

Here are the condition cards:

An Unwise Wager (1)

Losing to the Odds (1)

Not All He Seems (1)

Playing Dice With the Cosmos (1)

The New Deal (1)

Wagelings (4)

Who Are You Fighting? (1)

So there are actually only 10 (TEN!) condition cards!

There's a 4 in 10 chance he plays a Wageling first. P = (4/10) = 40% chance

There's a 3 in 9 chance he also plays a second one. P = (3/9) * (4/10) ~= 13.33% chance

There's a 2 in 8 chance he also plays a third one. P = (2/8) * (3/9) * (4/10) ~= 3.33% chance

There's a 1 in 7 chance he also plays a fourth one. P = (1/7) * (2/8) * (3/9) * (4/10) ~= 0.476% chance

So the actual odds are 1 in 30 for H=3, and 1 in 210 for H=4. Not that rare at all!

Any other ways he can win (or lose) prior to the heroes' first turn?

Losing to the odds. I’m on my phone right now, so I can’t spell it out, but if he deals damage the right way you can win immediately.

I too lost on the first round with 3 wagelings and 3 heroes.
