If the KS hits 150,000, we get story/campaign mode written by Christopher.  I REALLY want a story mode.  I'm just posting so everyone knows.  I'll be doubling my support and hope others bump theirs as well!

Only $68,485 more to go :/ With only three days left, it doesn't look good.

Hard to say the odds there could be a real bump from mobile users within the sale period. Still 150k is a lot of money so I’m not going to get my hopes up. I will however say that this mode sounds awesome!

As of the most recent update, there are 657 mobile backers.  That's $13,140 worth of mobile sales at the $20 sale rate.  That's a decent boost, but while it can probably get us to $110k and challenge mode, there will have to be a lot of mobile backers waiting in the wings to take advantage of the discount without backing to push us to $150k.

And we still haven't hit the 48 hour mark, which is apparently when reminder emails go out. That should have an effect!

It seems like one of those goals that was promised thinking it would never actually happen. I REALLY hope it does happen, though. If anyone can make that push happen, it would be the Sentinels fans!

We were naively hoping we would be well beyond that stretch goal already by now. There are several more planned that we haven't revealed =)

I expected funding to have been reached within the first week if this got even a third of the OblivAeon backers at $25 and it still hasn't hit a third of the number of backers that OblivAeon did.

OblivAeon had a lot going for it -- the ARG had us all hyped up, for one thing. This Kickstarter coming so soon after it probably didn't help -- if you just plunked down more than $100 for OblivAeon, you might be reluctant to spend another chunk of money toward the same game so soon.

This campaign started over a month after OblivAeon finished and the buy in is $25 compared to $40 plus dollars.

OblivAeon also had the addition of the box, so folks were throwing a lot more money at it in one pledge...

This.  OblivAeon had much larger price steps inside it, giving it larger overall steps for each backer.  The digital game has lots of $5.00 steps, which are, by comparison, VERY small.

For International backers, there's also shipping involved to inflate the funding level.

My Obivaeon pledge was $239 ($139 level + $49 Foil Villain pack + $1 poster + $50 shipping).

My Season 2 pledge is $25 (Just the level).

I have considered the hero and villain packs for the digital game, but I decided they just don't appeal to me in the digital game.  I certainly want them for Tabletop as the foil cards will look great on the table.  I don't feel the same about the digital version.  In fact, even if I got the art packs, I'd have more desire to stick with the original art cards in the digital game, as I missed out on some of the original promos for my tabletop copy and thus I'll only ever be able to play with that art in the digital game.

So yeah, I really want to see the project do well and unlock more stretch goals, but none of the add-ons appeal to me, unfortunately…

+1 to the being really soon after Oblivaeon.  I sort of had to get in a fight with my wife to bump to 50$ for yet more Sentinels stuff.

I play exclusively on the iPad, so there's not much there for me. There's no value proposition for me buying it all on steam.

i'm sure I'm not alone

Well you extend the discount for mobile, get free Jean Marc music, and access to backgrounds to use.   The music alone will be worth the $5

Handelabra Games recent post:

We'll have a social/mobile update in a bit but there are currently just over 480 non-google mobile backers. if we assume all of those people will spent $20 on the Season Pass when it ships, that's in the neighborhood of $9600.

They're not even counting all the mobile backer since they excluded android.  With just $9600 we have $9,9052.

This is pretty unfortunate since iOS user cannot buy origional game or season 1 pack like android and steam to be counted toward kickstarter.

Their stretch goal is what I really want, maybe most of us.

Let's hope one day they'll implement it.

To be clear, this is not a Handelabra issue, this is an Apple Store issue.  I'm sure Handelabra would make iOS available in the kickstarter if they could.

If Handelabra could legitimately just hand out iOS codes they would but Apple doesn't allow that.

At the end of the campaign, Handelabra is going to have an estimate on how much iOS user is going to contribute to the kickstarter based on the people who will buy the Season Pass 2.

Right now that $9600 that they estimate seems very low.  When we added android to the project there was about a $23,000 jump.

I have the game on my ipad and on Steam, both with Season 1 pass. I will also be getting the google version for my phone when available.

I'll try to buy season 2 on my kindle when it hits, but I upped my kickstarter back to 85 (speedy completionist) for the music and extras even though I don't need the game and season 1 codes. I think I'll give them to  friend, but if I can't find someone that will use them I might see if I'm allowed to give them away here.

Question so I can support as well: When does the discount period start? As soon as the KS is over?

Depends.   If they reach the 95K stretch goal or are close enough that they think those sales would surpass it then in the summer when the Preview Pack is done.   Otherwise not until Vengeance is available.  So the earliest is this summer and the latest is fall.

The discount period starts when Season Pass 2 becomes available for sale. So this summer, or this fall, as Powerhound_2000 described.

Am I alone in being blah about the other stretch goals, and just wanting Story Mode?

No, there is bound to be others with your attitude.

But I am not one of them! Heroic theme tunes? I want them so much!

No.

Story Mode is all I ever wanted. All I ever needed. Is here in my arms. Words are very unnecessary. They can only do harm.

Oops. I accidentally mashed up my Story Mode with Depeche Mode.

But yes, I too am excited about Story Mode above all else.

Nope. I honestly couldn't care less about the multiplayer avatar, wallpapers or the extra music, though OU and the preview pack are cool. Gimme the game content, I say.

In all fairness, Depeche Mode are musical visionaries whose legacy runs deep.
