Idea to make a video for the Kickstarter social media goal...but needs help

On the kickstarter page it says :

"To reward you for sharing the campaign, we’ve got Social Goals lined up. We’ll post regular updates about progress toward the goals, which will unlock fun rewards for you! [...] YouTube: 0 / 25 Make a video using SotM music and send us the link to be counted! We’ll post videos in a playlist on our YouTube account, and highlight some here in updates."

Now I don't have video making talents. But I have an idea, and need some help executing it. I was thinking of doing a quick and dirty animation using my sprites to reflect upcoming battles in the season 2 game with some music. Have a Dark Watch team, the Freedom Five, etc...

I have the music from the soundtracks (except the wrath of the cosmos). 

Whatever we do I know I will need to make more action based sprites.

Anyone willing to join me on this endeavour?

That sounds awesome!  Unfortunately, I, too, am not a video person.

You could print out the sprites and move them around on paper =)

There are also art programs that can do slide-shows.  You could write the whole thing out that way and play it back with a video recording program (or as an animated gif) or even record it on an iphone or android or something with the music playing.

I can do video editing, but I've no experience with animations; I'm happy to donate some time if that would help :)

I’m not doing anything super crazy. Still takes me time to create the sprites.
Honestly, since doing heavy animation will be too difficult and time consuming, what I had in idea was to simply do just screens. Like pre battle, action poses and maybe some victory screens.

If I spend my Saturday making the sprites, and I get the backgrounds, something could come to fruition.

Doesn’t need to be that long, I don’t think. Think this vague idea is doable?

I would also suggest taking a look at iMovie if you have access to a Mac, iPhone, or iPad. It has a way to make really cool little trailer length videos.

Alternative, is Windows Movie Maker still a thing? My windows knowledge is pretty much from the 90's, so..

Just a quick update, i have worked on something this weekend, and i will try and continue tonight. 

It might be really cheap looking, somewhat lazy, but it would at leats be some kind of fun. If people would like updates I can post some thing here, if they wish.

Please talk to me about video making.
We're making 30 seconds clips which is pretty short.
We only need 6 more videos.
I've plans for making 3 more.

I've experience in making video (After Effect, Windows Movie Maker).
I made a video already and want to try to complete the video goals.

Animato is really easy to use but I don't mind helping you creating video as well.

However I would need some help also I can't finish all videos by myself.

Please give me your idea, sprite, text and everything.
I have no problem making videos.
If it's not too time consuming I should have it done asap.

We only have 7 days left.

What I think would be neat is taking the defeated art for Omnitron and show it transforming into Cosmitron to the Cosmitron music.   Not something I could make look good myself.  

According to the last update we are at 6 videos now so only 4 to go

What is Cosmitron?  I couldn't find any reference to it.

I just know Omnitron IV come back during OblivAeon time.

Cosmitron is the name for Omnitron II which is the variant for the Omnitron deck.

Omnitron II is also referred to as Cosmic Omnitron (because he was revived by a "Cosmic power" aka OblivAeon), which quickly got shortened to Cosmitron, because it sounds cool.

We've hit ten videos now and Handelabra commented they'll post an update tomorrow.  They did post the video UXM and aawood its really good.   These other videos submitted make mine look much much much worse in comparison.   Oh well
