I would love to see variants unlocked as playable side by side.

All three Legacies battling Baron Blade together, for example.

Given that the OblivAeon plot line involves doppelgänger stroke across time and dimensional space, I think that would be a bit of awesome down the road and more economically feasible (if a bit harder to play due to lack of variety in decks) in the digital version rather than the physical one.

Not likely to happen due to balance issues, if nothing else.  Imagine a game with Haka and Tempest backed up by three Legacies.  Would be cray.

While the thought is interesting I sincerely doubt this will come to be in the video game.   There are just too many issues that come up from playing multiple copies of the same deck in the same game in the physical version that wouldn't make it possible to do in the video game.

I don't think it would be quite as bad as you guys seem to think. You can't have multiple copies of Inspiring Presence, for example because it is Limited. We have been told that Limited means one copy in the game, not one copy per play area. Playing with three Legacies, I think you'd find that a lot of the cards in your hand were unplayable because some other Legacy had already played it.

It can work a bit but it is not going to show up in the video game as it is not an intended way to play the game.

Consistently, intentionally slaughtering all of your teammates probably isn't an intended way to play the game, but they still let Ronway play the video game.

True but I'm pretty sure MigrantP has specifically said they won't implement using multiples of the same hero deck.

Multiple copies of the same hero deck will not be supported in the game. It breaks the game mechanics in various ways, would require a ton of work to support, and is just not really very interesting.
