This week's one shot faces you against Kismet in the Block with Young Legacy, Wraith, Visionary, and Team Leader Tachyon. It is a randomized start which is perfectly fitting for Kismet.

Mint. Lucky game - over in the fourth round, everyone around 25 HP.
No lucky cards were ever revealed during her end of turn phase.
At most one jinx in play - usually zero because Grappling hook, Blinding Speed and Mental Diverence available right away.
Infrared Eyepiece right away so no bad surprises.
Block only played two Block guards which hit the talisman then Prison Riot but game ended before next Enviro turn.
My quickest Weekly One Shot to date!
I enjoy shameless, trouncing victories so I certainly had fun!
I'm sure someone will get an unlucky draw or at a drawn out game against her. My game lasted a bit longer primarily because Legacy was the only hero capable of much damage for multiple rounds.
Overall, this one is pretty easy, unless you get an absolutely horrible starting hand. Team Leader Tachyon is absolutely broken, and all four of them are rather powerful heroes, none of which require major setup to begin to shine (though Wraith requires some, Impromptu Invention makes getting her ready so much easier than other equipment-heavy heroes, and the extra draw power certainly helps).
With an easy one like this, I have a feeling something really nasty is in store next week... I really hope it's not Miss Informaton again...
This one was fun, but yeah pretty easy.
I worry that they'll do Iron Legacy next.
Well, I tore that one apart like a cheap suit, and Wraith couldn'the even do any damage until the third round when she finally drew some weaponry. No one had less than 24 hp at the end.
Mint Tally: 6 for 7, 1 NM
Mint! I'm not super familiar with Kismet yet, so everyone was down to single-digits, but wow. So many cards in-hand.
I got Mint single player and then repeated the success in online multiplayer. The single player game was incredibly easy. Only person below 20hp was Tachyon pushing the limits. The multiplayer one, not so much. Had a lot of Jinx cards come out and then a huge combo of multi hit damage on all heroes made it a very close call. In the end Wraith and Young Legacy were able to knock her down.
Easiest mint ever! Got all the cards I needed to keep her from doing damage, while keeping the Talisman in hero play. Luck was a lady, and me and her got each other's digits. X3
Not easy! A cascade of jinxes. The block became terrifying, with multiple prison riots bringing out Char and the time-crazed prisoners. They and both Rogues hid behind the Defensive Displacement, which i left in place to deal with Kismet’s incessant stream of jinxes. Never seen anything like it. I’m used to the block not doing much and kismet being a pushover.
It was a long, drawn out, defensive game. I eventually got two twist the ethers on kismet and destroyed enough jinxes that I could go on the offensive. Never did get rid of defensive displacement, as i’d burned all my env destruction on the time crazed prisoners. I think I saw that card five times.
Two light speed barrages and an inventory barrage did the bulk of the damage. Finished with high hp mostly due to motivational charge, stun bolt, and Legacy tanking with lead from the front and fortitude.
But it was touch and go in the middle when a time crazed prisoner walloped tachyon down into single digits.
I did it three times, (Online and Local on STEAM, Local on iPad), and got Mint on all three.
TLT is broken. But with Mental Divergence, which i wa slucky to get in the first two turns, no Jinx survived!
Yes, Team Leader Tachyon is overpowered, but I was just playing her in a physical game with some friends and was reminded of how useful her base power and SST powers are for adding boosts to her trash more quickly to power up her big hits (I had all three Lightspped Barrages in my hand early, but it took most of the game to get enough bursts in the trash to make them worth anything). TLT is more about boosting her team than about taking out the bad guy herself, and that's a good character thing.
I beat it first time but only got near mint. I did not use an undo or any thing. Must be a bug.
I fat fingered the undo button when trying to check the number of burst cards in the trash. Oh well. Near mint for me.
The good news is, Tachyon has access to Research Grant once everyone is well stocked, which helps herself to dumping bursts. Or if you have Dark Visionary, you're able to really tear through Tachyon's deck, even using her base character card. That's how I was able to play 5 fleet of foots easily for the unlock.
The Block is the worst prison ever.
An early Inconceivable Obstruction (protected for a while by Lady Luck and a complete absence of ongoing destruction cards) followed by a Prison Riot saw 7-8 inmates and agents fighting in the hallways, and when I say fighting, I mean the agents attacked the heroes and damaged the talisman and did jack all about the inmates and Kismet. They did significantly more damage to my team than Kismet did.
Never say the Legacy Ring, so even though I got an early Motivational Charge and Next Evolution, my heroes were in the mid-teens at the time of my inevitable victory. This was an easy one, and a nice change of pace.
Mint tally: seven for seven.
I had never played against Kismet before, so I did a little research on her. I found that 1) she has a bunch of ongoings, 2) she does damage in mostly small amounts, and 3) she doesn't have any minions. This was a really good team to throw against her, and so it went that I got my mint cover with barely a scratch on the heroes. TLT started with two Hypersonic Assaults, Visionary started with her card that destroys ongoings, and Young Legacy started with Inspiring Presence and got a Take Down. It was all over in about 5 turns.
So I screwed up on mine and forgot that rewinding would take it from mint to near mint, so I have near mint. I played a second time and didn't rewind, but still have near mint. Is this the case that you only get one chance?
Yep. If you don't get it on your first try you are unable to collect mint for that version. Mint status is kept separate for local and multiplayer though. So you could have mint for multiplayer and near mint for local.
Mint: For the truly intrepid, there is the ever-elusive “Mint” cover. If you win the current One-Shot on your first try, AND without using undo at any point in the game, you will earn the rare Mint cover. Just like in real life, finding a Mint condition cover requires a bit of luck. They are a rare and special thing, so don’t worry if your collection doesn’t have them all
Thanks much.
Mint. Relatively easy, but a little harry at the beginning since Lady Luck and Inconceivable Obstruction came out early, making it harder to tag her or get rid of either card. Once I nicked the Talisman and Wraith got her eye-piece out, though, both were swiftly taken care of. The Block did a great deal of nothing, aside from a timely Defensive Displacement, and Tachyon getting the self-damaging Jinxes combined with two Glass Jaws worked in my favor thanks to Synaptic Interruption. Also managed to get Kismet to whack herself for 8 damage when Tachyon was holding the Talisman.
