Price of Freedom Wraith unlock discussion

What are you prepared to sacrifice to unlock this variant?

Tried beating Iron Legacy with 4/6 of the Freedom Six, no dice.

Maybe one of the unlock conditions is an inventory barrage that destroys 1 or more of Wraith's megacomputers?

Nope. Wiped all megacomputers plus something like six other things. No unlock. It was in Atlantis, versus Apostate.

legacy, wraith, tempest, super scientific tachyon,nightmist against omnitron in realm of discord. Killed omni and wraith with oblivion. No unlock.

She seems to be wielding Operative's weaponry. Anyone tried having Wraith beat Operative with the damage from Combat Stance?

was playing against Ambuscade at Wagner Mars base

Heroes were (in order): Legacy, Argent Adept, Wraith, Haka, Ra. None were promos.

I was just stalling out the game to try to get the win with all heroes at max HP achievement.

Had pretty much all of Wraiths equips out (including 3 mega computers). It unlocked directly after using infrared eye pieces in one round. 

Are you certain you unlocked Price of Freedom Wraith, not Rook City Wraith? I find it hard to believe they'd use the unlock condition of "use two Infrared Eyepieces in one round" for both.

my mind must have been playing tricks on me, I swear I read the achievement as freedom 6 Wraith. You're right though it was Rook City Wraith.

I got her. After losing against Iron Legacy, I fought against The Chairman in Rook City. The game was fairly average. I had Haka and Visionary out to control the Chairman's plays and make sure he never had too many good Jailbreaks.

After a while, I thought about it, and I realized I wanted to have WRAITH incap Operative. I didn't manage to get it done with Combat Stance, but a Throat Jab took her down. Afterwards, I focused fire until I used one final Inventory Barrage on Pike himself, ending the game and immediately getting the variant. Wraith had 6 HP at the end of the game.

I didn't get a screenshot of the actual variant unlock, sadly enough. Best I can do is show off her snazzy bio page.

Shoot. I did everything in the above post, but no unlock.  My Wraith had 13 hp at end.  I'll bet she needs to be under 10.

Nope. Did it again with Wraith at 8. No unlock.

Wraith took out operative with Razor O, and Chairman with an inventory Barrage.

You know what? I didn't do this in Rook city either time.

Neither did this guy

but he got the unlock.

Maybe you have to use Wraith (with less than 10 hp) to incapacitate The Operative with melee damage?

I DID Inventory Barrage for 15 (had a +1 from Twist the Ether) to finish off Chairman. But I had definitely Throat Jabbed Operative down.

based in what others have posted, a guess:

Lose a game to Iron Legacy with regular wraith on the team. Then, defeat the Chairman with regular wraith and without a Legacy on the team. The Operative must be incapacitated by Wraith using Melee damage. 

Nope. Finished with a Throat Jab to the Operative, no unlock

I wonder if the Chairman has to be defeated with an Inventory Barrage.

Throwing this out there. Someone on the Steam forum said that finishing neither the Operative OR the Chairman with melee was needed. A lot though are saying that they did NOT unlock when Combat Stance wasn't in play. The general concensus is that Wraith needs to finish off both. Gonna give it a try.

EDIT: Didn't work. People are saying everyone needs to be 10 hp or less. Will try that later.

Try having it where she has none of her equipment out by the end of the game, after having incapped both Operative and Chairman (in that order?)

Killed Chairman with Inventory Barrage (not all equipment out) and killed Operative with melee damage (Throwing Knives switched to melee and increased by 1 with Twist the Ether). Tempest incapacitated, all others below 10 HP though. Combat Stance was out. No unlock.

Combat Stance was out and all heroes were below 10 HP. No unlock.

Yeah I used Barrage to finish Chairman off second. No unlock. I am…stumped beyond all belief. 

EDIT: Did it again with everyone at below 10 HP… Nothing. >_>

One of the Steam screenshots had Wraith being unlocked after killing the Chairman (Operative was already flipped) but they did not use Inventory Barrage for the final blow. Not sure how they took out Operative, but did ask. Combat Stance was out.

Edit: While Wraith was under 10 HP, the rest of the team was not. No one was incapped.

This one seems particularly telling http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=614104917 because it shows that HP doesn't seem to be a factor.  The person that got it thought it might have to do with triggering Combat Stance a bunch because they did a lot of Smoke Bombs -> Wraith + Combat Stance shennanigans.

I will have to see how many Combat Stances I can get to proc tomorrow. I know the last game I had there was at least 5 total including the one which killed the Chairman. 2 of them for sure were against the Operative.

Edit: Off of Steam forums: Wraith in first position might be a factor and HP of Wraith does not matter.

Someone reported on Steam forums not having combat stance in play so possibly just Lose to Iron Legacy, defeat Operative and Chairman while in first position?

I just got mine doing this on Steam.  For my tablet I'll try doing it with less stringent conditions (like not having Wraith land the killing blow or not ending with Inventory Barrage).

I just unlocked it with Wraith in first position incapping the Chairman and then the Operative. I never even drew Combat Stance or Inventory Barrage, so either I got a bugged achievement like the guy on the Steam thread, or they're not necessary.

THAT'S what I've been doing wrong! I've had Haka and Tachyon in the lead so I could Ground Pound/Hypersonic.

Got it. And it was the last F6 variant I needed. Cheers all! :D

Hey, so I just earned it when the Wraith killed the Chairman, but the Operative is still active. Bug? The Wraith -did- take out the Operative seconds later. Maybe because Visionary was on the team, Steam somehow knew what was going to happen?

Yes, that is a bug that will be fixed in the next update.

From the unlock condition and the latest GTG Q&A, seems like Wraith took over as the new leader of The Organisation in the Iron timeline?

If you start a game against Iron Legacy with Price of Freedom Wraith in the first spot, their dialogue will confirm that.
