Ra, Argent Adept, Fanatic, and Scholar against the Ennead in the Tomb of Anubis.
I took some advice from the forum and played through it once outside the challenge to see if there were any surprises. Nothing too suprising (tank with Scholar and hope that Ra gets Drawn to the Flame early) so I went in.
My starting Ennead was Nuit, Set, Osiris, and Shu, I think. They pulled a first term Taste of Immortality for Atem and Isis and Nepythys showed up at some point.
It was a pretty straightforward damage fight with no particular twist. Ra eventually buffed up with Imbued Fire and his Staff and got the majority of extra plays from AA's Inspiring Supertonic. Never got out Drawn to the Flame so everyone had to be knocked out one at a time. Scholar used Don't Dismiss Anything a couple of times to keep Fanatic and AA in the fight and I did manage to get off a Verbal Sonata during AA's play after Set got incapacitated, which was pretty helpful.
So that's my sixth mint. How'd everyone else do?

Mint! Everyone at 3 HP except for Scholar who had 5 (whew!)
Focused on Set first, then Nuit. Then it was Nephthys, Isis, Geb and Shu.
Ra MVP with Flame Barrier, Staff, Tornado, Flesh of the Sun God.
Scholar had several Grace Under Fire early that helped focused fire on Set.
Fanatic Sacrosanct Martyr also focused on Set.
Argent only did Supertonic->Ra the whole game (no instruments)
Let Anubis stay around to damage Ennead
Let Spike trap kill off Ennead
Fun game!

That was a fun game. If the game had gone another round I think Scholar would have been at full health. I would always recommend going after Nuit first so you can blast at everyone better. I even got to use Zealous Offense to stop Anubis and Nomti from dealing damage. It did look a bit bleak after Set's first round of incap cards but I was able to get decent healing from Argent Adept to counter. Everyone was left at about 10HP or higher.

I had Scholar at full health and everyone else either less than 10 or in their teens. I fortunately avoided the equipment destruction cards by putting out all my songs first with Argent. He did Inspiring Supertonic's secondary and Rhapsody of Vigor the whole time. The Scholar stayed in Flesh to Iron and drew cards until he could play Don't Dismiss Anything every turn. Then when they took out Set, that became 2 Don't Dismiss Anythings in one turn. Fanatic mostly just bashed things and lost her armor multiple times. Ra had all his fire boosting stuff out, Flame Barrier, and Imbued Fire. So lots of burnination all around. Took out Nuit first to get rid of the damage reduction, then Set, then Shu, then the rest.

I completed my game with mint. Ra and The Argent Adept were incapped, Fanatic at 2, and The Scholar at 13.
Got Mint. Ra was down but everyone else was okay. It looked bad for a bit, but Scholar had Mortal and Liquid forms out and was allowed to heal out of turn due to Argent using Rhapsody and Vernal Sonata to recycle Holy Nova and Transmutive Recovery.

I put out solar flare and kept it out for a couple of turns (very useful), but in the end it was probably the reason Ra went down. Scholar finished in the 20s and everyone else in the teens.

It's like we played the same game. One difference? I forgot that with Imbued Fire out, Sacrosant Martyr is a really dumb idea!
Ra: 12, AA: 12; Fanatic: 6; Scholar: 27
Flesh of the Sun God is fantastic against the Ennead in the Tomb of Anubis. There's a lot of fire damage to avoid. Focused on tanking with Scholar, so Flesh to Iron. It was a very fleshy game.

Got mint.
Scholar at full health, everyone else just under 10.
The game ended when Set's incap played an arcane cadence for AA, which allowed him to play a Vernal Sonata, which allowed me to stack Fanatic and Scholar's decks for the rest of Set's plays.
After a damage boosted fire-y Holy Nova (which triggered Mortal Flesh to Energy), Set then made Scholar play Proverbs and Axioms, which let everybody else use fire-y boosted damaging powers, then healed Scholar again for damage enough to end it.

Weird game. Ra went down after a magnificent amount of damage, leaving the other three in a sticky spot, but then AA got his healing online and Scholar got out Mortal Form to Energy and Solid to Liquid. So much tanking, so much plinking. Got Mint in the end.

I made the same mistake which led to a cascade of suck as both Fanatic and Ra fell that turn. Aegis of Resurrection is wonderful until equipment destruction comes out right before the killing blow. Argent Adept managed to hang on for 2 more rounds before falling.
In the end it was Scholar versus 5 of the Ennead and I was looking at the end of my perfect streak of Mints. They didn't stand a chance. The Scholar was rocking Flesh to Iron, 2x Mortal Forms, and 2x Solid to Liquid. Turns out the other 3 were more use to me dead then alive with all the out of turn power use: Bring What You Need; and card plays: "Know When to Hold Fast" and "Transmutive Recovery".
Finished the game with Scholar nearly at full health and everyone else incapped. Mint.

Same here!
And I, uh, may have also done the Imbued Fire > Sacrosanct Martyr move. Whoops!

On the plus side, this seems like an entirely in-character thing for Ra to do to Fanatic…

Got the Mint cover.
Concentrated on Nuit first because of the defense she gives everyone else.
Never saw Flesh of the Sun God, but debated on playing Flame Barrier vs. Imbued Fire. Should have gone with Barrier that turn, because Imbued Fire works both ways and Ra went down hard to an elemental storm and its after-effects (getting pounded by Nephthys and Set) the next turn.
I left Nomti out for a couple turns because he was pounding bad guys, but when he dropped below 4 hp, he was Final Dive fodder.
I had to go into heal-zap shenanigans between AA and Scholar to stay alive. "Get out of the way" is so much fun when there are a lot of targets out there.
Last turn, I had AA (5 hp) and Scholar (15) still up, Set was at 5 hp, Isis at ~18. Challenge of Fire and Swinging blades were in play in the environment. Shu pulls out a Judgment of Anubis during the villain turn. I determined Scholar could survive the upcoming environment turn, and I could win if I got Isis down below 8 hp. There was much heal-zapping, and the Tomb pulled out the win for me. Scholar left standing at 15 hp, everyone else incapped.
Good setup this week. I like playing against the Ennead.

Just a suggestion - can we start putting the title of the One-Shot in the names of these threads?

Minted this pretty easy just kept doing as much damage as possible, dropped Nuit mid-turn2 so I didn't have to deal with damage reduction, then dropped Set to make sure if the villain deck played extra cards, I got an extra four. Made a few minor mistakes like trying to get the swinging blades to do melee damage to the one who is immune, but I won on the villain turn of extra card plays with 3 more top decks and then my whole turn coming and Ra being thr only one in single digits. Never saw any reason to get cute and do anyhing other than damage and more damage.

Minted on local twice (ipad and STeam)
Used Flame barrier as first play, and just healed with AA and Fanatic so Schoalr can pound away at the gods.
MINT on Online with PowerHound. Didn't play Flame barrier, and Ra went down hard (other factors took palce, I doubt one card did that). But he used his incap to make AA heal everyone TWICE a round. No one else dead, or under 10.
By far, one of my favorite One-shots. Not too hard, like Miss Information or Voss. But not so easy like Ambuscade's run.
Great one-shot1

Hm - I musta gotten a really optimal setup because I minted this one and it wasn't particularly close.
Ra was unsurprisingly the MVP. Dropped Flame Barrier turn 1, dropped Flesh of the Sun God turn 2 and it was all downhill sledding from there. Imbued Fire was adding insult to injury, and Argent Adept getting Inspiring Presence to allow Ra to put up the fire damage shield AND nuke was gravy. Scholar opened with two Grace Under Fires which are at their best early on vs. Ennead. Nuit didn't survive past turn 2. Once Challenge of Fire popped it got downright comical - my team LOL'd while the Ennead ate 4 fire damage per turn.
The only time it got kind of hairy was when dead Set played Fanatic's Divine Sacrifice and the incoming damage took her down to 4, but I had an Aegis. Also, use the Staff power early and often so Ra can keep playing new ones for the HP bump - he will take a lot of damage.
I can see where this would've been a challenge 95% of the time but I got a god hand, pardon the pun. Between Flesh of the Sun God and Challenge of the Flame, my guys skunked the Ennead so badly that I coulda mummified their remains with a box of kid's Band-Aids

Played a little too fast and loose and ended up losing Ra and Fanatic early, but Argent Adept and Scholar kept healing like crazy and Mortal Form to Energy and the Tomb of Anubis were tearing the Ennead apart. All told, six of them showed up by the end of the fight, but I got my Mint.

The game starts the same for everyone so likely you just made the most optimal choices the first time.

Randomization effects can change decks during the game. So incap shuffling effects can randomize things for people.

Minty fresh! Ra did most of the heavy lifting, with AA getting him extra power uses and a very timely play of Scorched Earth that sent the Ennead reeling. Nuit went down first, then Set. Incapped Set may be runner up for MVP, given the cards he helped my team pull out. (Inferno in particular was well-timed). The environment was mostly a non-issue, aside from giving Scholar a 2 HP healing power instead of 1 HP.
Fanatic, sad to say, didn't do much besides damage. I never use Sacrosanct Martyr in the first place, there was never a target at or under 4 HP at the start of her turn so the three Final Dives she pulled were useless.
Ended with everyone between mid teens and mid 20s, thanks in part to AA's healing vibes.

Mint in one of the closest games I've ever played. Took out Nuit and Shu first, but the damage started to catch up. Ra was dominating, but lots of swinging HP. Luckily, only one extra member came out. Last god was down to 13, but I was down to 1 HP with both Scholar and Fanatic, and it looked like a loss. However, I pulled out Aegis and used Sancrosect Martyr for 5 damage. Aegis protected me from the (overkill), Annubis reacted to the card being destroyed and hit her for two, but Fanatic still with 8. Scholar uses Know When to Turn Loose for 5 damage, bringing them down to 3. Scholar healed to 2 HP. The environment cleaned up with a hit for 4, winning me the game. Going from a total of 2 HP to 10 while the villain dropped from 14 to -1 was a unforseen win.

This is my first non-mint! I had a read of what everyone was saying and it looked really easy, but I must have made some very poor decisions. I got finished off by the card that "destroy all environment card, deal X damage to all targets equal to number of cards destroyed this way" and they board wiped me. :(
EDIT: Near Mint. :(

ClericalError, I had the Ennead play the Desert's Wrath (destroy all environments, do X damage to all heroes) immediately after Urshe revealed 5 trials in my test game. It's pretty annoying (nearly unavoidable 6 projectile damage for everyone) but since there's nothing you can do to avoid it, I had no plan to counter it other than "hope that doesn't come up."
I'm sorry the deck shuffle hit you with a similar combination and took you out. At least your next play-through went better.

Another week, another mint cover. Ra and Argent Adept went down the turn before the last of the Ennead bit it, and Fanatic was down to 2 HP. The Scholar was at almost full health; Flesh to Iron absorbed an incredible amount of damage.
It's good to hear that others have a full collection of mint covers also. I wonder how my streak will end. Will it be because I'm too far away from Internet access for too long? Or because I face a challenge I can't beat? Or will the random villain wheel land on Spite? Stay tuned.
