So according to steam I have played 200 hours of Sentinels of the Multiverse: The Video Game, that's a lot of video game!

But it's not enough. I am going to try and kick up my SotM: TVG playing to try and reach 365 hours of game play this year, that's enough for 1 hour every day for an entire year.

By my calculations that means if I was to play every day from now until January 1st I would need to play about 3 hours a day, so that's the plan. Who's going to help me reach this target? And who else can reach this (entirely stupid and arbitrary) target as well?

I'm at 238 hours on Steam right now, but I've been playing the game on my iPad more often than on Steam the past couple months. I suppose that if I focused on it, I could hit 365 hours over the next month & a half, though.

I'm pretty sure I've hit that number playing on my iPad.   I've played over steam a bit but not nearly as much.

Another week, another update.

I am up to 253 hours, well up on where I want to be, and that's even having a day where I couldn't play thanks to crappy internet.

The addition of the new mini pack has lead to their being a lot more people online, lots more variety in the people I get to play with. I have yet to unlock any of the new variants but I have seen them played, and couldn't resist putting in the front to see new dialogue (though I haven't tried an Ambuscade game with Eternal haka, must do that) Lots of people want to play around in the Final Wasteland, at first I thought there was a problem with the worm as I had a game where there was 12 cards inteh deck but we had 4 rounds where it was the worm every time, but it seems to have just been a fluke.

Somehow I feel this quest might be better spent doing something else, like 3 hours a day on a bike to get fit or something, but this is far more fun.  I've seen 2 non-standard gameover screens thanks to the wasteland, and I've worked out what Guise's icon is on the Scholar's incap* so I don't feel I've waste my time at all.  Huzzah for time wasting fun!

*It's the symbol that browsers/OS's show when they can't display a picture!

What is the icon on Guise's chest on the Scholar's incap?  I've seen it but don't recognize it.

It wasn't me that changed my avatar…

Actually I did totally mean to sort myself out a hat avatar, but life kept getting in the way. I was actually glad to have someone take the responsibility away from me!

Another week and another report for my adoring fans. I know you are here for my numbers and not Silverleaf's hat.

Had a pretty terrible week so far as my time was concerned, I lost 5 days! I realised there was an error in my formula, I was counting from the day I bought the game, not the start of the year. It changed the hours needed each day from 2.6 to 3.01, so still just within the 3 hours per day I previously had but now I can't skip a day if things come up. The sacrifices I must make to reach my goal are as horrible as they are numerous.

I've currently got 271 hours under my belt, so I've passed the 100 hour point now, everything should be downhill from now on. Here's hoping Handelabra don't release Kismet or Setback to jinx me now!

If you fall behind you should ask them to send Omnitron-X or Chrono Ranger.

What do marathon runners and I have in common?

Apart from amazing physical fitness, we both know the dread of "the wall". This week I have been feeling the fatigue set in from having to play so much Sentinels every day, it's really such a chore you know.

I thought about admitting defeat and just stopping so I didn't come to resent playing, but instead I pulled back and played less hours this week. I still have a buffer from overplaying earlier so it isn't like I'm behind yet, but I can see the spectre of defeat getting ever closer now.

I think I will be counting down rather than up from here on out, it makes the totals involved look more manageable.

79 hours to go!

Random people is easiest, but because I usually play at the same time each day I generally play with the same people again and again.

This has been a horrible week.

Not only was I saddened when there were there several days when I could not play, not only did I know that I wouldn't be making up those hours on Sunday because of the monthly London On Board meetup, not only did I fail to break the 50 hour barrier, but I then went and missed the London On Board meetup due to horrible a tummy bug I caught from my Nephews. Ugh.

51 Hours to go.

I have no idea how many hours I have played this week. I can tell you how many Steam says I played but that is not the same thing.
On 3 seperate occassions I looked at the time and had 313 hours or more and when I started steam again it had dropped the time to below 313.
I finally broke that stupid barrier very late Friday night, putting me at "only" 15 hours away from getting back to my goal of 3 hours a day with just Saturday & Sunday to play that staggering amount of time to put me back on schedule before I post this (I write as I go). I sure as hell better feel some sort of sense of accomplishment if I make this stupid 365 hours arbitrary goal I set myself!
...
Nope, I only got in 11 of the 15 hours, but I am at 37 hours to go so it's not a terrible showing this week.

I dunno, I might need to do it before MigrantP's New Year, which is currently on Oz time so that knocks off another 12 hours of playing time!

I left my update a bit late this week becasue I've been away for a few days, but regardless of my not-being-near-steam status this has been a pretty good week, I finally unlocked Redeemer Fanatic, just Ra and GloomWeaver to go.

So what with Christmas and the like interrupting things how do I stand a day before the end of the year?

Only 6 hours to go!

BUT

I only have today, tomorrow I will be busy all day and have no time at all for Sentinels! So today is my last day, I need to get in all 6 hours, if I am on Steam I will be playing Sentinels, feel free to join me! LtUlman
