Multiplayer in August?

Yay!

Well it's the public Beta.  It isn't that surprising since they've made it a goal to have multiplayer in Beta by Gencon.  I'm still waiting for them to turn this into a board game.  

We didn't reach the stretch goal for the board game =)

But yes indeed, we'll be demonstrating multiplayer at Gen Con, and the Steam public beta will happen in August. If you sign up to the mailing list you'll get on it as soon as it's available.

For a person who mostly uses his iPad, does this mean I'll have to install a separate app for the public beta access?

The public beta will require a Steam version of the game, conveniently on sale right now: http://store.steampowered.com/app/337150/

Cross-platform multiplayer will be coming to iPad and Android too, but not until afterwards.

Well I just got an email about Mulitplayer beta being open.   Now if only I wasn't at work.

Beta is up and I'd love to get some games in! Sadly, only two friends off my current Steam list have the game. This should change. Steam name is arrowbro if anyone would like to play!

WooHoo!  Having great fun in multiplayer, just played with an old friend of mine and Ronway against Gloomweaver.  First turn Cursed Acolyte came out, Gloomy must have known Ronway was around :p

We kicked that Cursed Acolyte around like it was nothing. He even decided to show up again, so we kicked him around some more! What a chump!

Still better than Siege-Breaker!

Yup, the same turn Gloomweaver decided to play all three vast followings in 1 turn, the second turn of the game.

My first MP game had Ronway in it was kinda thrilled to be playing with a (minor) celebrity. I've only played 2 multiplayer games and both went great. nice to play Sentinals with people again... (I WILL get my friends to sit down for a game. They will love it once they actually play it.)

Worst part Ron, my next game had Pydro (if he uses the same handle on steam). Starting to love this board.

This is true. He is called Kregg for nothing. Overlord costs.

man, the addition of majority voting makes the games sooo much faster than they were at Gen Con, it's pretty great.
