You can watch the Streams to see how far along they are.

More specifically - we've seen Gloomweaver, the Tomb of Anubis, Nightmist, and the Argent Adept previews on the stream as of last week. I didn't get the chance to watch tonight, so I don't know what (if anything) got revealed.

Akash'Bhuta, and Horus Ra.

We've also seen that both Ra and Fanatic have variants available now. I'm watching it now, and they are playing Akash'buta in Insula Primalis. (All past streams can be watched on the twitch page.)

I have to admit that I don't have the patience to watch the streams; watching videos of other people playing games, even games I love and obsess over, has never interested me.  Is there a tread in the forum where people post interesting news tidbits from the streams?

Not that I'm aware of.

I think you should give the stream a try anyways, at least briefly.  We have a lot of fun in the comments section while the games are going on.

I can't get enough of your lava.

Infernal Relics is coming along well. No release date to announce yet.

Don't worry, there's plenty of lava for everyone. This is the summer of lava.

I don't generally get to watch them live, but tend to catch up on YouTube at later dates. Then, if people start babbling, I can FF a bit.

Yeah, the only downside to watching the youtube version is you miss what the chat is saying, so sometimes they are responding to things you have no way of reading.

I'm glad they do upload to youtube though, otherwise I would never get to see the videos.

They do a pretty good job of reading the relevant comments, though.  So you can usually get most of the context.

I do make an effort to try to read out what the question/comment was, but it's always good to have a reminder =)

Yeah, that's true. It's not really a problem, overall.

One of the two people playing always makes the move I'd choose (A/Z dude), and one almost never does, often leaving me screaming at my ipad (Tachyon dude).

Hasn't the Ra variant also been seen, but not yet played in a stream?

The Ra variant was played a few weeks ago in session 27 vs. Akash'Bhuta.

I thought they did Redeemer Fanatic a couple of weeks back… maybe I was dreaming?

They used her in the Apostate game, where i they wasted all their nukes on a combo that does nothing to protect itself and allow apostate to flip, while they had 2 sucker punches in hand

It was the stream from about two weeks ago.  They set it up so that Mystical Defenses would take out the last relic and ended up having that end the game.  Apostate did not flip.  This is the YouTube link http://ow.ly/NOVtB

They could have won 3 rounds earlier, if they had focussed on getting a sucker punch kill, because it won't cause a flip

It would cause him to flip.  If Apostate still has a relic in play on his front side he will destroy the relic and flip.  It's only on his back side that you can sucker punch or use a similar ability to destroy him even if a relic is in play.  I don't think it's in Spiff's FAQ but once migrantp lists the fireside chat for Infernal Relics it will be the official ruling.

Why is it different?  The wording is the same on both sides.

That is disappointing to know.

I don't really want to be playing different versions depending on if I play physical or digital.

Will the new oversized card have the change as well?

I don't know.

Several cards have small wording refinements in the digital version. They are noted in the Fireside Chats thread. Generally, they are changes that reinforce the original intention of the card.
