I was facing against the Matriarch on Advanced (Chorts are indestructble). She was at 4 HP, and one of her cohorts was at -3 HP.
Then the Kraken came out, and i thought he'd hit the matriarch, but hit the Cohort instead.
Is this intentional? A bug? How do indestructible targets work whtn the lowest target is hit?
No bug. Indestructible targets can get negative health, and will count as the lowest targets when they do (assuming that nothing else is even lower).
Heck, this can even happen with Explosive Wagon. Volitile Parts will target an exploding Explosives Wagon every single time. (barring other indestructible shenanigans such as the Cohorts)
I could be wrong, but I thought the video game changed how that worked. If a target is destroyed, it won’t be targeted as the lowest hp.
Possibly. But the way indestructible targets work is definately right.
I don't think indestructible targets that are at 0 or less HP have been destroyed.

-3 is lower than 4. Working right =)
Also, destroyed targets are not considered, no matter their HP.
So, those Cohorts are just damage sponges for the Kraken..... Interesting, but not fun. :(
