I am unsure how to feel about the fact that it seems like Argent's always most attractive when he's being creepy.

In all fairness, I think that sys more about you than it does about him.
Though he does look good in a tux.
It's just something about Argent's features, he looks particularly good doing the whole Anne Rice/Victorian Gothic aesthetic thing.

I kind of doubt the Golden Age Captain Cosmic looked anything like that. That was based off the Captain Cosmic we know. If we get a Golden Age source book for the RPG that’s likely to be the place we’d see that Captain Cosmic first.
I would say Golden Age Captain Cosmic most likely looked like the guy on the covers of old 'Space Busters' books, or the guy on 'Space Cadet' by Tom Corbett. Square jaw, well kept short hair with maybe a well placed 'Clark Kent' curl, clean shaven with a cleft chin, muscular frame: the 'pinical of masculinity' as it was considered back then.
Edit: I like how Slasher Expat's mask is cracked around her eye, showing she's most likely been attacked and blinded in one eye by one of her victims before she killed them.

There’s been a few enterprising Redditors who’ve come up with some thoughts, but BGG has been disappointingly quiet on the matter.
Also on Adam’s stream there was discussion of ranking the SotN folks based on scariness level after people expressed nopeness about Spooky!Omni and Spooky!Lifeline. I was basically like “If Tachyon, Argent, Unity, or Harpy want an evil apprentice/protege, I’m there, everyone else probably is a nope.”

I’ve been doing some research into possible Unnaturalists, and the Ninki Nanka seems like a good possibility. It has aspects of both a crocodile and an antelope, as well as other creatures.
If they still have their powers? My money is either on Legacy or Visionary.

Very fitting that the last drawing is Vampire Hunter Baron Blade (seeing as the first drawing was Vampire Lord Legacy). Some rivalries never die.
This kind of makes Blade the only "hero" of the bunch!
But what greater evil would make Hunter Ramonat go all the way to the darkest hills of Pennsylvania, home of all vampires, and join forces with Blood Count Parsons? Perhaps it has something to do with the summoning of the Elder God Ra, and the reawakening of the ‘Nn’e-ad’? And now the gears... they are turning...

Muck Monster Akash'Thriya? A ghost-like "Super"naturalist? Unfortunately, Captain Cosmic already stole the "Ghost Pirate" them from La Comodora.
The Naturalist being a shapeshifter could easily be a certain shapeshifting murderous demon in clown or spider form. Though name-wise all I can think of is The Natural-IT.
How about deep-sea fangly fish mermaid Comodora?
