We tried to take him on last night, and got absolutely creamed. 5 man team of Lifeline, Ra, Dr. Medico, Legacy, and Benchmark, though I'm not sure how much that mattered ... the only way we could think of to possibly win would be for everybody to play characters with squidloads of healing and just outlast him, but that seems pretty dull and not-fun.
My wife was wondering if there was a rule we missed about how many times you can chain 'play the top card of the villain deck' cards?
Otherwise, how are you supposed to beat this guy? Do you have to smack him down and flip him to have a chance?

Typically you win this game by getting the Manifestations to low health( 1 or less ) and have Infinitor play Whispers of Oblivion which would put all of the Manifestations under him.

But yeah, outlasting is a fairly workable strategy, and he can get samey, turn for turn, really quick. I find he's great in concept, but as an actual game session, only really worth it for telling Infinitor's story. (I.e., the heroes just beat Infinitor, okay! Let's go help him defeat his demons!)

You can also cheese the heck out of him with mass damage and the Sentinels' Blackout. Tempest, Greatest Legacy, Prime Wardens Fanatic, and The Sentinels can be a round 1 win if they draw that one card.
