I've been bouncing this idea around for a while now and now that Oblivaeon is finally out it's been nagging at me worse than ever. So I'm going to be presenting the idea to the masses and the creators to see what they think of the idea and possibly get concepts for said idea, that being Team Synergy Abilities.

What do i mean by Team Synergy Abilities you ask? The concept for this started from a few video games that I'm fond of, namely the X-men Legends franchise; in which you assemble a team of four heroes to play through the game. It's rather free-form, but some of the options for teams grant you extra little perks for essentially running "premade" teams, so I was thinking why not do something similar with SotM? Basically what I'm suggesting is some little bit of extra "oomph" for sitting down with friends and pulling out a "pre-themed" team, such as The Freedom Five (reduce all damage done to hero targets by 1?)or The Dark Watch (increase all hero damage to non-hero targets by 1?). You wouldn't need to have all members of a team to get the bonus as this is imposable in some instances (Freedom Six) but so long as all players were from the same "team" the bonus would apply.

Anywho, thats about it. Let me know what you guys think and thank you for taking the time to look this idea over.

While there aren’t any strict team bonuses in Sentinels, teams are designed to work better (or worse, as appropriate) together.  If you’ve played with the Prime Wardens variants, for instance, you’ve probably bounced more plays and powers around than you can count.  It almost feels like you’ve mashed five superheroes together into a larger, more merchandisable supersuperhero.  The Freedom Five sort of feel the same way.  There are other, “unofficial” teams that work well together, both thematically and mechanically: try F6 Unity, Benchmark, Omnitron-U, and FS Parse, or Stuntman, Mr. Fixer, Expatriette, and Guise (the best- and grittiest- hero).
