For the folks at GTG or anyone else who got the case,
Is the front panel suppose to open all the way and lay flush with the top? I thought that was the case but mine doesn't. It just seems to hang at an angle and there seems to be a lot of pressure on it. I even seem to have a tiny tear from letting it fold to far open.

Mine doesn't go all the way flush, I think because of bits of cardboard impinging on each other. No tears on mine yet.
I've just opened it long enough to take things out of the trays and then put them back.

Mine happily lies flush after it was opened and closed a few times and doesn't have any tearing i've noticed.

Mine lies flat, but already has a tear about an inch long on the right side. Expect the whole panel will be off after a few playthroughs.
The worst part is I have no idea how to go about even repairing it.

Duct tape should work.
Mine is fine.

Duct tape. Sure. Maybe if I want the box to look like it's from Hicksville Garage.
No. Duct tape will not work.

Mine arrived pre-torn (about an inch ripped on the left side). I'm bummed about that, but I'd probably have done it myself sooner or later and I don't think GTG is getting rich off this set. Also minor denting on the back top corner.

A Strip of clear shipping tape would work fine and be more pleasing visually

Black Duck tape might work for you.

At worst you can send an email to contact@greaterthangames.com about a replacement. Edit: Make sure to add pictures of the damage

Don't forget to include a picture. I noticed that they requested pictures of damaged items in one of the recent (the most recent?) updates.

It is supposed to lie flat. Mine does not even come close, it’s at almost a 45° angle. No tearing yet luckily.

I've got a similar issue, mine doesn't come close to laying flat.
I knew I forgot something on my "there's an issue" email...
