I just received my physical copy of OblivAeon yesterday, and have already submitted an OblivAeon game for a coming gaming convention.
There are a couple "removed from game" cases that raise interesting questions.
If a player is incapacitated as Stuntman after using "In Media Res", if that player chooses Stuntman's variant as their next hero, is that card added back to the game?
Given Ra's variants, I'm considering a house rule that you can play the other two versions of Ra in any order, but Setting Sun must be last. Let's say I don't apply that house rule. Would cards removed from the game by Setting Sun's base power be added back when the player chose another version of Ra?

A card is removed from the game for that hero. If you are to bring a different variant of that hero, it starts with the full 40 card hero deck.

Each variant is considered to have 40 of its own unique cards. So everytime you start a new hero he has all his cards regardless of what his previous incarnation may have done

This also applies to Unforgiving Wasteland and Setting Sun Ra.

This house rule has my support for what it's worth.

In the game I ran on Sunday, if I'm remembering correctly, OblivAeon went to his second form after the counter hit 0. His shield was still on Phase 2. Does he automatically lose the shield in his second form, or is how it played out with the players taking down his shield and then pounding on him the proper procedure?

As usual, if the rules don’t say to do something, you don’t do it. So the shield remains up until you get rid of it as usual.

So what happens if the Aeon Master detonates an Aeon Warrior while Oblivaeon is in the other zone? Does it do nothing, since the effect itself lacks the ability to reach across zones? Does it hit the highest in the Aeon Master’s zone, because that’s where the effect is occurring? Or does it hit the highest in Oblivaeon’s zone for some reason?

Aeon Men have "if destroyed by OblivAeon" effects, Aeon Man allows OblivAeon to destroy the Aeon Man with the lowest HP even if OblivAeon is in the other battle zone, which would then trigget the "destroyed by OblivAeon" effect. I'm seeing nothing on Aeon Master's card, nor the Scion deck, about Aeon Master destroying Aeon Men.
I had thought Fanatic's Divine Focus might be affected by zones, but realized a turn is a turn, no matter where it happens.

Yes, the thing being that the Aeon Warrior is the only one without an easy answer to what happens if Oblivaeon destroys it remotely. Admittedly Aeon Thralls may be affected by the ruling as well, but at least have an easily apparent answer. The effect of an Aeon Warrior makes Oblivaeon himself hit the highest HP Hero target when he destroys it. The question is what happens if this occurs while Oblivaeon is in a different zone from the Warrior. Used Aeon Master as the example because it was the only one that occurred to me at the time, suppose Global Devastation could also do it.

I'm going to say Oblivaeon deals that damage to hero target with the highest HP in the zone Oblivaeon is in. While he can destroy Aeon Men across zones, there's nothing on the Aeon Warrior's card that says Oblivaeon can reach across zones for the damage.
