Had the livestream yesterday (twitch.tv/videos/253974179) on Benchmark! This is to discuss what we saw and start theory-crafting.
One nitpick I had is that Cooling Systems are supposed to cool the thing they are on by venting the Heat away from the object, not by venting Cold :P

Absolute Zero vents cold so we do have some precedence in SotM
Yes, but isn’t that him opening up his suit in ways it’s not supposed to be, to expose the cold surfaces?

I was already pretty much interested in Benchmark before the preview.
His deck/playstyle is very special, I can‘t wait to play him.

This looks like he’ll take a loooot of setup, but once he’s ready he’ll be putting out a lot of damage, plus potentially helping other heroes do stuff on his turn, basically every turn. Given the ridiculous number of power uses (three in a turn!) I can really see him shooting to MVP. Just as long as he can keep his cards out there!
I don't think he'll take anywhere near as much setup as AA or AZ. Deployment Actuator, Flash Installation Drive, Micro Fabricator, Upgraded Memory Unit, Intel Analyzer, and Load On Initialization all help build him out faster, and the more of those you put out, the faster his setup goes. Full wipes will rip him apart, but otherwise, he can build momentum (unless he gets a really bad draw). And his Supply and Demand variant goes even faster.
Benchmark is the hero I am looking most forward to out of the 6 hero previews.
It seems Stuntman seems to be a favorite for most of the people.
Luckily both of them are the next heroes to be released.
I can't wait to get my grubby little hands on this deck and figure out all the different loadouts and combos I can get going...
Having finally finished watching the stream from May 2nd, I'm especially stoked for Benchmark's deck. The crazy modularity he's got going on is right up my alley.
