Rookie looking to try out XTREME Tempest

Salvete! I'm a forum rookie who mostly plays digitally. I recently had enough free time to start playing again and I found out that the XTREME Prime Warden cards have been unlocked. I like finding unusual ways to screw with different villains (i.e. triggering Gloomweaver's insta-lose with Parse) and I was wondering if XTREME Tempest's "Thunderstruck" was particularly good against certain Villains. So far, all I've found is Iron Legecy's heavy Melee damage and La Capitan's minions but I feel like I'm missing something big.

Wouldn't work on Iron Legacy as it only affects non-character cards.

Anyone with problematic mionions is good for this. Ctizens Tears, Sweat and Anvil (if you can get a boost). Huginn and Munnin bringing each other back. Voss's spaceships. The Chairman's underbosses bringing thugs into play. And of course it's great for minion damage prevention.

It's not as good against solo villains like Iron Legacy and most envirnment targets end of plays are damage so less useful for shutting those down. Does not help against the EPE as that's start of turn. Howeve, if you're in the realm of discord, Imbued Vitality makes all those annoying ongoings valid targets and enhances this greatly.

Thunderstruck isn't just good against La Capitan's minions - it's also great against her ship. Preventing that extra card play can be huge.

Yeah, I used it on Stolen Gear when playing Friction a while ago.
