First thing on the to do list when oblivion comes out.

  1. Look through everything and take in that new card smell
  2. Play a game with the void guard
  3. Play another game with the void guard but switch their character cards with that of the sentinels
  4. Laugh or cry at what happens next

I kind of figured people would use the Void Guard heroes together with the Sentinels deck.

If you want to you can play a game with the Sentinels right now using The Void Guard’s Character Cards… I’m not even sure it would be that broken if you fought a villain with lots of AOE damage.

...That's hilarious and I've never thought of doing it.

Though at least standard VG Idealist wouldn't be able to do anything. Or Writhe, off the top of my head.

You would get to draw a card with Idealist.  Writhe's certainly wouldn't have any use.  Though some people comment they rarely use Writhe's power for either Sentinels team anyways so it might be moot for some.

Idealist let’s you draw a card… Sentai does nothing though.

Base Writhe does nothing but 5 extra HP might actually be better than his other powers… Cosmic Inventor would be hilariously broken.

Both Mainstay’s would be really powerful, their powers are about on par with Adamant Sentinels Mainstay but the HP is almost double.

Medico has 10 more health but a weaker power. Malpractice plus Hippocratic Oath would cause the universe to collapse upon itself (which I think means OblivAeon automatically wins even if he’s not in the game).

I must be weird then cause using the Void Guard as promos for the basic Sentinels decks was my first thought.

Adamant Writhe's power is nearly game-breakingly good against some villains (Citizen Dawn and the Chairman).

Also useful against Voss.

I agree both of his powers in the Sentinels group are good but situational so they get overlooked a lot

I like Writhe's power for digging for cards. No more worry about that one card being burried in the bottom of your deck! Burn the candle at both ends!
